Mommy decided this would be the week to try and see if Micah was a little more ready to take on potty training. It turned out to be a great success! Micah went naked for 2 straight days so that when he felt he was going to go potty he could jump right on the toilet without any problems! We had a few accidents along the way but it has been 4 days now and Micah is doing super! Daddy told him that he would take Micah to DQ on the motorcycle (only a mile away) when he could go potty on the toilet. Andrew was so excited on Awana Award Night to sing his cubby song to us! Kyle and I were so proud of him and can hardly believe what a big boy he is. It is so much fun to watch who Andrew is becoming and to see more of his personality! Micah and Andrew will be Cubbies in the Fall! Micah can hardly wait:)

Last Sunday our little Caleb got into some dangerous mischief! While mommy stepped away from her curling iron for a moment, Caleb grabbed the cord and pulled the curling iron down on his face and it rolled onto his arm as well. When mommy came back she heard a bang and Caleb crying. Noticing that the curling iron had fallen she quickly put Caleb's head into the sink and grandma called 911! We had been at grandma and grandpas in the cities when it all happened and soon the ambulance came and took Caleb and mommy to the Hennepin County Medical Center. The doctor told us that Caleb had gotten 2nd degree burns on his cheek. He said that we could take Caleb back to grandmas but to come in to the burn unit the following day. Caleb cried for only the first 15 minutes of the accident and then once the pain meds got into his system has acted like nothing has happened! He occassionally gets fussy when we clean his burn but overall has been his normal busy self ever since! Throughout the wee
