Getting Bigger!

Image
Caleb is 9 months old already! It has been so much fun watching him grow in the last month! Caleb has 4 teeth now (two on bottom and two on top), talking all the time (no words yet!), crawling all over the house, and eating more foods like the rest of us. Caleb weighs 17 1/2 lbs which puts him in the 9% in weight and he is only in the 17% in height! We definately have a little man on our hands! Andrew and Micah were much more in the 50% and over for both weight and height. Kyle is a bit worried Caleb is going to be short like his mommy. I think it sounds great because maybe I'll have one little track star in the family! Caleb is not a big sleeper but we manage to get a 2 1/2 hour nap in the afternoon and he sleeps through the night, mostly. Caleb still occassionally likes his middle of the night bottle. I have to admit that I still enjoy this middle of the night feeding as it allows some quiet snuggle time. These can be the most precious moments when having little children. Nothin

Happy Birthday Daddy!

On Thursday we celebrated daddy's 29th birthday! We woke him up by blowing these birthday horns while daddy was still sleeping! The boys were so excited to celebrate daddy's birthday with him that they slept with these horns just to start the day off right. For lunch I took Kyle to our favorite restaurant in town called the Chocolate Moose! We had a great time and enjoyed visiting with many of our youth leaders that came to join us. After lunch we had daddy open his presents and then made him a yummy supper of ribs and potatoes! We sang and finished his special day with cheesecake his favorite dessert:) Daddy we love you and are so glad we could make your birthday so special! You are a wonderful husband and father to us. We pray that God would continue to watch over you and bless you abundantly. We are so proud of you in serving Christ in youth ministry! Thank you for loving us so much and teaching us about Jesus too:)

Happy 3rd Birthday Micah!

On March 5th our little Micah turned 3! I remember the day I delivered Micah and I am so glad that I am alive today!!! Micah came into the world in the tramatic way. He was delivered by emergency c-section due to placenta abruptia. This was the scariest thing that has ever happened to me! I lost so much blood during Micah's birth that the doctor wasn't sure I was going to survive. So thankful to be the mommy to our little Micah and be able to spend each and everyday with him. We had a terrific day celebrating Micah and his special day! Micah loves going to ECFE and it happened to be his birthday right on school day! We made yummy red cupcakes to take to school and celebrate his special day with his friends! He was so proud when everyone sang to him and truly felt important. Daddy gave Micah this amazing summer water park for his birthday and Micah thought it was the coolest thing ever! The boys can't wait to have their friends over this summer and play with this outragous

Chicago!!!

Kyle and I took off on a wonderful weekend away to Chicago! We had a great time together without the kids for a few days! We stayed at the Hyatt hotel where "Simply Youth Ministry" had their annual conference. We joined this conference this year and were very pleased. There were 2500 youth pastors nation wide that came and it was very powerful to see everyone that serves Christ in the same ministry. Kyle and I really enjoyed the speakers, worship and Toby Mac concert! We also went to a track session on small groups and becomming more effective in building small groups in our youth ministry. We took back some great ideas! When we weren't attending the conference we had the chance to go downtown Chicago for an afternoon. We went with our friends Jackie and Jason and had a great time touring, eating chocolate and doing a little shopping. We also enjoyed a couple amazing pizza nights as well. It was so refreshing to get away and spend time together. Kyle and I love the chance
