Logan and Lila Kate

Image
We had a fun family weekend celebrating Logan's 4th birthday and Lila's baptism!! Logan was super pumped about his special party at Chuck-E-Cheese!! It was so fun watching him throughout his party because he was in awe of everything going on around him...games, cousins, friends, grandparents, mom and dad and of course Chuckie himself!! Logan, you fill our family with joy and laughter! Loved your hat man and watching you feel super duper special! You are growing up so fast! We all love you so much! Sunday morning Kyle and I had the honor of being apart of our sweet niece, Lila Kate's baptism. It was such a special morning for us as they asked us to be her godparents! What an honor! Had to sneak a picture with our sweetie! Lila, what a special day to celebrate you!  We love you! Thankful for family-

Micah's Surgery

Image
Our relaxed, easy going 7 year old, Micah Robert, had surgery March 26th in Eau Claire.  We were so proud of how brave our sweet boy was that day and how thankful we were that the whole procedure went so smooth. Micah you make my heart sing of the Lord faithfulness to us each day! Micah had such a stuffy, plugged nose for at least 6 months. I thought either he was just getting colds because he never dresses warm enough or he must have allergies of some kind. So, I took him into the clinic and our family doctor gave him some over- the- counter allergy medicine to try and see if that would clear things up...nope! Not at all! Micah's teacher talked to us at conferences how he always had to get up and get a kleenex throughout the day at school and how plugged he sounded when he would read out loud. Kyle and I were not really sure what to do... One night I was laying in bed with Micah listening to him read to me, which I always love and he is so good at! He has so much express

Spring Break!

Wisconsin Dells-Mt Olympus!! We took off as a family to Wisconsin Dells over the boys spring break and it felt so great to go play and be crazy together for 3 full days!!! We enjoyed Mt. Olympus because it offered our family lots of variety and reached all the boys ages. From the amusement park (rides!) to tubing to the water park, we had a blast rotating from each. I loved seeing Kyle squeeze into the tea cup with little Jake and big boy Drew. Hilarious!! Daddy put silly bibs on all of us as we waited for pizza to come! Andrew came up with a bib dance for us... that was awesome Drew!! Bedtime snacks that ended each day....popcorn and sprite! a family favorite! In addition we made sure to hit the arcade in the morning after breakfast, and a bit before heading home. The boys loved using their money ($2 each morning) to go play in the arcade! On our last morning we picked out our awesome, forever lasting slinkys that made it only till we got home THAT DAY! Kyle and
