Gunderson Adventures.... where all 6 of Us live life to the fullest!

As we waved goodbye to Kyle in our driveway, Micah prayed that daddy would have a safe trip to Nicaragua and that he would be able to help people have clean water to drink.  Kyle had a great opportunity to serve God in Nicaragua this month. We are always so proud of him and the way God uses him to bring others closer to Christ. But while he was gone, the boys and I made some special memories together. These boys are growing up so fast and it is so fun to join them in what they love to do and celebrate with them. And that is exactly what we did this week!  Drew played in 2 tournaments this week, and had an absolute blast! Their team played AWESOME together!!  This is Drew after his 1st 4th grade tournament all sweaty, but look at that smile! He is FULL of JOY! Drew just loves being on the court being aggressive and being an excellent team player. On Wednesday night this week the boys participated in the Grand Prix car racing for Awana!! It was super fun and the boys always love how special they make the entire night! Boys, you each did a FANTASTIC job on those cars!! We are so thankful for the Awana program. So great to learn about God and play with other friends who love Jesus too!!

One of the most beautiful fall seasons we've had together as a family. The weather has been incredibly gorgeous and we've taken full advantage! As always, every fall we get a massive amount of pine needles and leaves to rake up. Here the boys jumped in our big pine needle/leaf mixture! This is a fun picture of the boys having some evening fun being super punks. Jacob and I enjoyed a special morning together at preschool, it was "bring a special person to school day." Fun experiencing preschool with Jake. He really enjoys school. One of Jake's favorite things to do is play with the trucks! Fun snack day where Jake put lots of frosting on his graham cracker. Yummm. This October we had a very special day with grandpa. He came to hang out with us for the whole day! We started the day off with yummy donuts he picked up in Woodbury and then carved and painted pumpkins together. Played some Rack-O And went to Chippewa to throw rocks and eat
