Marbulous!

Image
Daddy and Andrew just love playing with this Marble Ramp! Daddy claims Andrew is "helping" build this magificant runway, but I have a feeling he is setting Drew up for exciting marble action all on his own! Andrew just loves watching the marbles slide around and Daddy seems to get a thrill just the same! It is always fun to watch Daddy play and love on both our boys! We are blessed by such a great Daddy in our home. Anna

A little ministry update!

Image
This has been such a great spring to see the way God has worked in our ministry this past year. We have experienced God working in so many ways with our kids this past year. There have been many ups and downs and that has continued to be true this spring. There have been some very difficult times with kids as well as many very deep and meaningful times together. I have had the privilege of spending every Wednesday morning at the school library praying with the students, and have seen this ministry begin to grow and see more students waking up early and coming out to pray for each other , the school, and our ministry together. We have also made some great strides with our leadership students and we are beginning to see them start to step up and take charge within our ministry. Here goes an attempt to fill you in on some of the details of what we have been doing. This spring we have had an explosion of visitors at our late night open gyms. Once a month we open our doors to anyone who

Micah Update!

Image
Micah had his 2 month appt. today! We were shocked to hear that he weighed 13 lbs! Micah also was 24 inches long, which puts him in the 70th percentile on the growth chart. Interesting to note that when I looked back at Kyle's baby book, he too weighed 13 lbs. and was 24 inches long at his 2 month appt! So my guess is.... Micah will be a big boy like his daddy! Micah has an eye infection in his right eye, the doctor said it will go away in the next week or so. His eye has been really gooey and red this last week. I hope with good wiping and messaging the tear duct, it will heal soon. Also, Micah is developing the "flat" head look from laying down. The right side of his face (the side he rests on the crib) is quite flat. So, the doctor gave us some helpful tips on how to even out his face! Poor Micah-hopefully his head will begin to round out soon cause Kyle is quite certain he will look crazy if it doesn't. I assure him that Andrew had this too, and his head looks gre

Where Does the Time GO?

Image
As Andrew and I were chasing each other around the yard today I took this picture of him by our tree. We had so much fun playing tag and peek-a-boo that I lost track of time! We were crazy silly for over an hour! While I reflect upon my day and this picture I am so amazed at how fast Andrew has grown. He is already 19 months old! He is looking and acting like such a BIG boy these days. Andrew talks to us all day long-most of which is his own made up language that Kyle and I can pick up some of what he is communitcating. And yet, lots of words are becoming more English like, such as "juice" "yes" "no" "more" "up" "down" "Micah!" "chips." Andrew is growing up so quickly! I am scared to blink as he will be in Kindergarten before I know it- YIKES!

Go Twins!

We had a wonderful get-away last week as a family to Minneapolis! While we were there we took the boys to the Twins Game! We had such a blast getting the boys in their Twins gear and talking to Drew about baseball. He kept shouting "ball!" With uncertainty on how Micah would enjoy the game, he also did fabulous. His contagious smile helped all of us to have a great time together. Here is a fun picture of us at the game-ENJOY!
