Christmas Cookies!

Image
We had a great time making Christmas cookies with our good friends the Anderson's! Terri makes some incredible cut out cookies with amazing frosting that Kyle was hoping I would learn how to bake! So, while Kyle was out of town the boys and I got the opportunity to spend the whole morning decorating and playing with Rachel and Nick:) We were blessed! Here is our cookie display!!!! Games with Rachel! Terri has truly been a wonderful friend and mentor in my life. What a treasure she is to me. Terri is a super star mom with 5 kids and I have learned so much from her! She teaches me to relax, love Jesus with my whole heart and smile lots!!!!! What a fun morning we had together!!!

Thanksgiving Weekend

Image
My family came to visit us for a fun Thanksgiving weekend together. Too bad the weather was so snowy on their drive up, but very thankful everyone made it safe! We had a great time just hanging out doing crafts, playing in the snow, watching Toy Story 3, going to the Christmas light parade and laughing at the kids together. With 5 kids under the age of 5 in our house, we had many silly moments! Little sleep but lots of fun! Craft time! Aunt Kara and Grandma brought up some fun crafts for the kids to work on while we were snow bound! Andrew enjoyed working on his Christmas Reindeer. Great job Mr. Drew! He loved being the big cousin this weekend. He had fun holding baby Logan and showing Kaylee all his toys. Kaylee, our niece, is 2 years old now and so much fun. She loves helping in the kitchen, talking about and playing with her cousins, eating grapes, getting her back tickled and being with her family. She is a joy to play and sing with. We love her great big hugs and her adorable vo

First Snow Fall!

Image
We had a great afternoon playing in the first real snow fall of the year! Here are some fun pictures of the boys enjoying the snow! It was a trick to find all our winter gear from last year. Luckily most everything still fit! They look like trouble!!! What do boys do when they can make snowballs? Yes, welcome to the first snowball fight of the season! Micah had fun rolling in the snow!!! Caleb's first of many tastes of the snow! Yummy!!!

Happy Halloween!

Image
Spiderman, Ninja Turtle and our little Monkey were very excited to go trick-or-treating tonight. Andrew and Micah ran from house to house consuming as much candy as possible. Caleb focused in on the suckers and had a total of 4 while his big brothers ran around hunting for more suckers! Caleb thought this was great! We also went up to church for the Fall Festival where we had lots of fun with the youth kids playing all sorts of games with tons more candy and prizes. We came home with 2 goldfish! What a great night we had! After the fun was over the boys poored out all there candy and loved looking at all they collected! My little spiderman and ninja turtle went fast asleep! Micah said to daddy before going to bed, "I sure am a tired little turtle daddy!" Happy Halloween!!!!

Girls Weekend!

Image
This weekend my mom, sister-in-law Kara and I went to Women of Faith and had a wonderful weekend together! So many things really touched our hearts and it was so nice to be able to get away and spend time together. We laughed, cried, and loved every minute visiting and encouraging each other. These girls are so precious to me. A few tools we learned throughout the weekend that we will all carry with us this year are: 1. On days that seem impossible to even get out of bed remember to just start by Making Your Bed. 2. Refuse:Replace:Repeat- so important when satan attacks us! 3. The Bible is our guide book. The best parenting book made for us! We took away so many vital messages and reminders about living a life fully focused on Christ. I felt very refreshed and renewed after Women of Faith. I was truly blessed by God this weekend and by my very special girlfriends. Girlfriends found in family are truly divine. Thanks girls for your love for me and your encouragement to me as a wife, mo

Andrew was thrilled to play games and eat pizza with all his family! Here are some fun pictures of his party! Andrew and Micah loved dancing with the Chuck E Cheese band and really took control on the dance floor! Great moves boys:) Andrew loved every minute being loved up from his family. He felt very special getting all the attention to himself! The boys ran around playing all sorts of games. This was a favorite! Andrew woke up on his actual birthday October 9th and decided to open all his presents before 8:30AM! Wow, we were jumping right into birthday mode! Go Drew! We are so excited to celebrate you! Andrew and his good friend Jillian share the same birthday so they decided that they wanted to have a birthday party together and invite all there friends! Mr. Trouble!

Image
Caleb James is 15 months old now and weighs 20 lbs. He is the littlest boy in the bunch and lately has been the biggest trouble maker! It is hard to believe by this adorable smile but he is making mommy very tired these days! Caleb is walking and moving faster than I can keep up with. He loves climbing, putting his fingers in the fish tank, putting toys in the toilet, running towards the street, playing with toothpaste, pouring out baby powder, unrolling toilet paper, hiding nail polish around the house, and on and on the busy list goes..... This is his normal location after breakfast. Caleb is a magnet for the kitchen table and most often can be found on top with blankie in hand! Sometimes throwing napkins on the floor but mostly just smiling at mommy wondering if she is going to get mad at me. Though Caleb makes mommy and daddy smile by his cuteness we are exhausted of cleaning up after and rescuing Mr. Trouble from all his mischief!!!!! Beware sitters this little guy will keep you

Our Little Preschoolers!

Image
Andrew and Micah both started preschool last week and had smiles all the way to school! Andrew and Micah go to school on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays! Micah is thrilled to meet new friends and eat yummy snacks while Andrew is not so sure about being away from mommy all day. Andrew leaves the house right after breafast and returns home around 4:00PM. Micah goes only in the afternoons and is gone for only a few hours. Andrew came home all excited about his big day to later find out he felt like throwing up all day! Please pray for our little Drew that he begins to enjoy his preschool routine! Micah however can't wait to go to school again. Surprise anyone??!! Here is Micah on his first day of school away from mommy! Have a great day buddy! Daddy and mommy are so proud of you!

Destination Unknown!

Image
Last Monday Kyle and I took our 55+ group from church on a Destination Unknown to Itasca State Park! We all had a great day and enjoyed taking a tour of the park and spending time by the Mississippi river. Here is our whole group enjoying our day together! What a fabulous group to be with! We learned some great facts about the park and the weather was beautiful! Kyle and I enjoyed the day without any kids and actually got to hold hands! We loved the time visiting together and being with adults for the whole day! What a treat:) I love these women of God who teach me so much about being a mom and loving God with all of your heart! Thank you lovely women for allowing me to spend a day with you! You are a treasure in my heart. We stopped for ice cream at Cold Stone on the way home! Yummy!!! What a wonderful day!!!
