Gunderson Adventures.... where all 6 of Us live life to the fullest!

  Gunderson Camping Trip 2012 was an absolute blast!!!  Kyle and I were truly impressed by our little campers! They were great! The boys all love playing in the tent and making sure everything is ready to go- Caleb is testing out the flashlight! Check! Works Great!  Jacob tested our lantern-Check! That worked great too! We were set for FUN in the dark!!!  We camped at Cascade State Park along the North Shore of Lake Superior. Here are the Cascade waterfalls! Gorgeous! Andrew, Micah and Caleb loved hiking each day and exploring lots of new waterfalls-gooseberry falls, caribou falls, temperance river falls, hidden falls, and cascade falls.  Gooseberry Falls- A family favorite!  Kyle and Andrew exploring the falls- all senses involved! They had a blast hiking up the falls, swimming under the falls, and Andrew even jumped off rock cliffs into the river! I am getting more afraid of what they will be doing when they are teenagers! We had a fun week spending time together swimming, going on picnics and eating ice cream! Here is a picture of the boys with daddy at our new favorite ice cream shop! We had a great 4th of July with friends from Cedarbrook! So fun to get together and spend time swimming in the lake, having a picnic and watching fireworks together! One of our favorite days of the year! Andrew and Bethany hanging out together! Jacob is ready for fireworks in the boat! We had a blast jumping in the lake right up until fireworks began and then eating popcorn and watching the fireworks right in our boat! A new favorite tradition! To finish up our fun 4th of July celebrations our awesome cousins Kaylee and Logan came to swim with us at the water park and head back to the house to grill and hang out! What a great day with uncle Ben and aunt Kara, Kaylee and Logan! Thanks for coming to hang out with us!

 We are now getting into the groove of summer and having all 4 boys home. We are enjoying these warm summer days in Menomonie and loving our water park in town! Having a picnic before we hit the water!  This last weekend we went to Irvine Park in Chippewa Falls and enjoyed walking around the park and going to the Splash Pad! Boys had fun exploring the hiking trail.  They all decided it was time for a break on the bench.... The boys spent some time in their "at home water park" with their buddy Charlie! Yesterday was a great day to stay home and enjoy some fun in the sun! The weather was in the 90's!!! Summer is here!!!
