Gunderson Adventures.... where all 6 of Us live life to the fullest!

This morning Jake and I took off to see my grandparents that I haven't seen in a really long time. The morning drive was so pretty with the bright sunshine! Jake and I sang in the van the whole way there! Grandpa looked great and was really glad I came, he told me several times. Hard to see him somewhere other then his home in Sandstone, Mn but he looked good and was feeling well.                                    Grandma cracked me up today because she really did not like her lunch. I took a big scoop of it and shoved it right in her mouth and we both started laughing so hard! I had to talk really loud too because she had lost a lot of her hearing. So I'm sure everyone was ready for me to leave by the time our lunch giggles were done! Her mannerisms are so much the same and it was as if time hadn't past being next to her.    The boys had been anticipating our Spring Break adventure for weeks talking about all our plans and  activities we would do while away together. It was lots of fun hearing the boys talk about playing hockey, hiking, and doing lots of swimming! We all had that wild excitement in our eyes when we pulled out of the driveway after church Sunday afternoon!  Stopping at canal park on our way we were freezing but didn't zap our joy one bit! We were now on Spring break! It was a really special week getting away together. Drew and Micah were playing some one-on-one so I grabbed a pic to remind us of all the ice skating the 4 boys did. A few times the 4 of them took off to the rink on their own pairing up to help the younger boys put on their skates. Fun new season for Kyle and I. The boys had such great attitudes. We had so much fun celebrating Micah and packed in a full weekend of party time!   Micah has such great friends who find him as funny and crazy as we do! It was a ton of fun sledding with his friend crew and hearing them mess around with each other. Kyle made a bonfire for us at the top of the sledding hill to warm up by in-between all the shenanigans taking place with all these boys!  Fun night with great friends to help celebrate! Caleb and Jake have had so much fun playing basketball on Saturday mornings! Menomonie does an excellent job at their little dribbler program. The coach was awesome and the boys were always so excited to play with some of the varsity basketball players who help run the skill time.   Jake makes us smile with his long socks and determination!  Great stuff Jake!  Caleb played with the older group and made some great shots this season!  Caleb had so much fun playing bball this year!
