Warmer temps+ New York trip+sunrises!

We are really enjoying our winter days lately! Grandpa and grandma came to visit us last weekend and we had a really nice time with them. We hadn’t seen them since Christmas! So many great walks and talks, fun games played, good food and even got them in the hot tub.😊 Kyle took off for New York on Monday with some of his best ministry buddies and they had a nice time traveling and connecting with other pastors. It was fun getting pics from him this week as he had never been to NYC before. I am really enjoying the sunrises on my morning runs...6:30am and the morning sun starts the day in the most beautiful way. “ Because of the Lords great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. The Lord is my portion, therefore I will wait for him.” Lamentations 3:22 Micah had a basketball tournament last weekend! Love these smiles and thankful they can play. Friday morning recovery run to the cross! My favorite place to run to.

 Oh my goodness, the weather has gone from cold to colder to insanely COLD!!!πŸ₯Ά It has stopped many of our ice skating adventures this week, but definitely not our hot tub time or the occasional walk close to home to get some fresh air. All in all we are surviving AND we got our eyes fixed on going to Florida in exactly one month now!πŸ–✈️  Running these days has been consistent workouts on the treadmill, and it works for the time being but not long term situations. Totally not ideal, but getting into the groove with my podcasts and great playlists that keep me staying upbeat. Next race up will be my 2nd half marathon in Marco Island! 🏝 SO excited. Our hot tub has been well used, and a great place for us to hang out during these cold days. Such a treat for us! Kyle and I enjoyed celebrating Valentines Day with our boys, making heart pizzas and opening gifts together❤️ then, we went to check out this cool spot and played Scrabble together, our favorite game. Thankful for a healthy fami

Drew’s freshmen basketball seasonπŸ˜ƒπŸ€

 It was an interesting season, not quite normal in the sense that it was done in COVID style- masks, distanced,  limited or no fans, live streamed, cancelled games, quarantined for 3 weeks as a team...BUT they got to play. So we are thankful for that! πŸ˜·πŸ€ Here are some photos taken at one of Drew’s final basketball games, always so proud of him! Drew we know the season held pressure for you at times, always trying to keep the boys smiling or staying positive. We are so proud of who God is creating you to be. We love you for exactly who you are, always. Keep being you, because that’s who everyone loves the most. πŸ€πŸ˜·season complete!

The little things...

Life lately has seemed a little flat, maybe a little stuck in a sense that things still don't feel quite normal. So in an effort to remind our family of all the little things God has given us each day as blessings, I have taken these photos this week... Wednesday muffins! I look forward to Wednesday mornings after I swim laps for bran muffin day 😊 such a highlight and Gods little blessing to me each week. Biking at Lowe’s!  We had a great afternoon at Lowe’s Creek last weekend. We sure missed Drew (bball game) but glad I could use his bike! The weather was perfect and the boyz had fun showing off their tricks!  Fresh air is so good for our crew. Really helps us feel alive and refreshed! Skating with Jake! We had so much fun skating, just the two of us. We had the whole rink to ourselves, pretty much. It was fun to play a little hockey, race each other on skates, and talk about so many fun things the whole time. Looking forward to more Wednesday nights with Jake.😊   Hot tubin’! We
