Week in Review Fast February!

Lots of Substitute teaching lately- I have been subbing a lot lately in the district and I really enjoy it. This is a pic before the 1st graders came in for the day. I always walk around and pray for the kids before they come.   Conferences and Caleb helped paint! The guys had great conferences last week and we are so proud of them for their hard work and great attitudes about their teachers and friends and what is happening each day at school. Caleb had fun helping paint this picture in the library!   Like the good old days, joining youth group for a night! Last Wednesday we had fun joining Kyle as he took over youth ministry for a night. Just like the good old days for us as we were all there as a family playing with the youth kids. Such great memories of doing life with the youth kids for 19 years!   Duke is 60 lbs and had a great checkup! Duke had a checkup and was such a great boy getting his shots, we can't believe he is already so big!   Favorite quotes this wee

Week in Review 2/16 Valentine's Week!

Valentine's Day with my sweeties- we had a nice Valentine's day as a family. I was not very good at taking pics this year but I always love putting Valentine's on the boys and Kyle's supper plates. We enjoyed opening our cards and eating heart shaped pizza together. It was a really nice and simple Valentine's Day.  Such wonderful boys- I found myself overwhelmed this week that Kyle and I are so blessed with such great boys. Not everyday is EASY but they truly are turning into amazing guys. I am so honored God asked us to be parents to these 4! 15th Annual Free Clinic Benefit Evening- Kyle and I were invited to a nice evening out on Saturday night and we had a great time with friends! It was fun visiting and eating great food. Kyle and I hope we can get out a little more often and treat ourselves to enjoy a night with friends.  Little Dribblers  I caught this quick pic of Jake dribbling by me! It is so fun to watch him each Saturday morning!   Colfa

Favorite Dessert Brody, a great friend to the boys, spent the night with us on Monday night so we made him our new favorite dessert! Warm chocolate cookie with plops of vanilla ice cream on top and everyone takes a spoon and shares! So yummy and we had some silly discussions.    Ski day at Afton Kyle took Micah, Drew and Brody skiing at Afton on Wednesday and these guys enjoyed skipping a day of school to be in the sunshine ALL DAY!!! Sometimes you just gotta get out of routine and have a little fun.   Chamber Supper This is always a fun event to go to in our town because you get to hear all the great things happening in our community. The neatest thing was seeing how many people are leaders in our community and go to Cedarbrook too! Notice the donuts as the centerpiece, our good friends are opening up a donut shop soon!   Valentine Dance On Friday night was really fun. I can't believe this was Caleb's last Valentine dance in elementary school, makes me reall

Week in Review 2/2

Week in Review  this weeks blog is going to be all about our weekend in Minneapolis doing Ames and Emily Bryant's wedding! Kyle and I had the best time seeing everyone from International Falls, Mn where we served in youth ministry for 5 years~ Saturday morning long run was really special and so nice to get to run somewhere new! I loved my view along the Mississippi River and so many people were out running too which was fun.  Alma Hotel was where we stayed and it was so wonderful. The hotel is located above the restaurant and the food was excellent.  It was nice to be within walking distance too of where the wedding was!   Starbuck's   Coffee and Massages  on Saturday morning was a great way to start our day together. We got a couples message for the first time and I got the giggles and couldn't stop laughing for the first part! Good thing I relaxed after a few minutes and Kyle and I both really enjoyed it.  Starbuck's coffee really is my favorite too!
