Week in Review 2/16 Valentine's Week!

Valentine's Day with my sweeties- we had a nice Valentine's day as a family. I was not very good at taking pics this year but I always love putting Valentine's on the boys and Kyle's supper plates. We enjoyed opening our cards and eating heart shaped pizza together. It was a really nice and simple Valentine's Day. 
Such wonderful boys-I found myself overwhelmed this week that Kyle and I are so blessed with such great boys. Not everyday is EASY but they truly are turning into amazing guys. I am so honored God asked us to be parents to these 4!

15th Annual Free Clinic Benefit Evening- Kyle and I were invited to a nice evening out on Saturday night and we had a great time with friends! It was fun visiting and eating great food. Kyle and I hope we can get out a little more often and treat ourselves to enjoy a night with friends. 
Little Dribblers  I caught this quick pic of Jake dribbling by me! It is so fun to watch him each Saturday morning!
 Colfax Tournament Caleb's team played in Colfax and did pretty well! They were bummed to lose their last game but still smiling anyway! Somedays ya got it, Somedays ya don't!
Sunday Long run Quite a different long run from last Sunday morning! I was so excited that the sunrise was beginning at 6:30AM, meaning spring is on its way!! The sunrise was so pretty, I felt it was Gods love letter to me. 
 Family Card Nights Is becoming a highlight for us! The boys are really getting into some fun card games with Kyle and I. It has been fun to enjoy game nights as a family and all play the same game!
Lately, blogging hasn't been a favorite thing for me. I'm really hoping to get back into it here and begin posting more frequently. Just more of the little moments again!!

Grandmas Marathon- getting faster!!

3:00:38 Grandmas Marathon PR!! I’m still smiling…things are coming along nicely in my marathon expertise! Haha, Im just being silly but I really am learning more as I go-what works best for me, what doesn’t.  June 17th was a blast!! Cramps hit strong in my left calf around mile 18 and then my pace got more limited as I went, I was so scared I would pull something that I tried to find the balance of push and hold up! Super proud of this race and the battle I fought. The marathon is a beast and continues to challenge me! Games ON still for the CIM Marathon on December 3rd. 😁First up though, trails and less miles for me for awhile. My friend Leah is a true gem, someone I really enjoy sharing running miles and life with. Kyle, Micah and I enjoyed time with Leah’s family in Duluth. Her sister Sara and brother-in-law Mike made us feel so welcome and special!  I’ve been getting faster and continue to PR each year since my late 30s, in fact the last time I raced Grandmas Marathon I ran a 3:16

Getting better and getting ready to go home!

Hey There! We thank all of you so much for all of your prayer support through this entire process. Go sure had His hand in this from the beginning. Anna and Micah are both doing just great. Yesterday was a hard day for Anna, She was very tired and had a hard time as the Doctors began to take her off of some of the pain meds she was not feeling good. She began to get a high temp,but that was all taken care of by early in the night and she slept great. She will be again trying to get of the IV pain meds and move to pills, if this goes well today we will be on our way home to see Drew tomorrow. Anna and I are both really loving the calm personality that God gave to little Micah as we know the high energy that Drew has waiting for us at home. We can't wait to see his little smile again and hear all of his animal noises and cars sounds. It will be so great to see the way that God grows these two boys only 17 months apart. It will be crazy and great all at the same time. Pray

Friday came quick!😅

 These full days have gone by super fast this week. Teaching full days to students who need my full attention, getting over a cold this week, spending time with all the boys each night, and keeping up with Kyle’s busy church schedule has had us all feeling like it has been a quick week! Micah and Caleb had a tennis meeting this week to get ready for their spring season, Kyle and I are really excited to cheer them on soon! Maybe sooner with how warm our weather has been this winter. It’s been fun to hear that Micah has been at the courts a lot already with his buddies, praying he has a solid season ahead for his Junior year.  Micah will be 17yrs old next Tuesday! It’s so crazy to think I have an 18yr old, almost 17yr old, 15yr old, and 12yr old….I wish I could keep them little.❤️ Each season of life looks so different.
