My Sweet Boy!

Caleb is growing up more and more each day! He will be 4 years old in June and will start playing soccer in a few weeks! Caleb and I have a daily routine that has become special to the both of us. Each morning we clean up breakfast together after we wave goodbye to the big brothers and then we sit down and plan out our day. Caleb loves picking out his own clothes on days I let him and will pick basketball shorts every time! We can't wait until we don't have to chase him around the house trying to put pants on him when its time to leave the house! When lunch time begins each day I smile because Caleb will eat waffles, syrup, milk and fruit everyday of the week if I let him. He loves breakfast foods and smiles every time I give into his sugar/carb fix. After Caleb and I read stories together with Jacob, we put Jake down for his rest and then Caleb begins playing Ninja Turtles most days while I take a little breather and catch up around the house.  Easter weekend this year was very relaxing and this year...very needed!!! We desperately just needed a weekend for us to be together and just be home. Here are a few fun things we did that made our weekend special!!  We had fun frosting cookies and eating them!! We let Jake eat the frosting when we were all done...I think he is loving it!!!  Egg dying.....a memory MUST for Easter, right???  This picture makes me laugh because Caleb loves wearing his Viking jersey on the days that I let him choose his outfit!! I just hate it cause I see it so often... but he is so happy in it!!!  Our little Jake checking out what dying eggs is all about!!! Too cute!!!  Daddy wrote a surprise on Caleb's egg....bubba!!! (our nick name for Caleb)  Easter morning we cracked into the basket grandma and grandpa sent us!!! Lots of fun treats for the whole family!!!So special!!!  Happy Easter 2013.... being at home and being together celebrating our Risen King!!!

On a lighter note...

March was a very busy month for us as we went on our family cruise and had a week off for spring break!! Lots of fun spending time together and with family. Kyle headed out on a mission trip to New Orleans which left the boys and I packed and ready for grandma and grandpas house!!! Here is what we were busy doing~ Instead of just holding up the fort while Kyle is gone I have learned that it is much more helpful to get a away and visit my parents. This way I spend time with my boys and also have some needed help to make our time without daddy enjoyable for everyone!! The boys and I snuggled in bed before heading to grandma and grandpas house and decided it would be fun to have a little alone time with mommy. Micah chose going to our favorite donut spot!! Jack's Bakery!! Had to have a picture together next to all the amazing treats!! Jacob loved going to the Maple Grove Maze where he could explore on his own!! Always fun to go shopping with grandma to Kohl's and pi
