On a lighter note...

March was a very busy month for us as we went on our family cruise and had a week off for spring break!! Lots of fun spending time together and with family. Kyle headed out on a mission trip to New Orleans which left the boys and I packed and ready for grandma and grandpas house!!! Here is what we were busy doing~

Instead of just holding up the fort while Kyle is gone I have learned that it is much more helpful to get a away and visit my parents. This way I spend time with my boys and also have some needed help to make our time without daddy enjoyable for everyone!! The boys and I snuggled in bed before heading to grandma and grandpas house and decided it would be fun to have a little alone time with mommy. Micah chose going to our favorite donut spot!! Jack's Bakery!!
Had to have a picture together next to all the amazing treats!!
Jacob loved going to the Maple Grove Maze where he could explore on his own!!
Always fun to go shopping with grandma to Kohl's and pick out a few fresh things!!
Caleb and I took a special trip to the car wash!! He loves spraying the car with soap, eating popcorn and watching the guys clean our car up!! The van was clean and shiny when we left!!
One of the boys very favorite thing to do at grandmas is play with all her toys....most of which I played with when I was a little girl!! So fun to watch the boys play with them!!
Andrew and I also took a special trip to the donut shop and Andrew picked out a yummy bunny cookie!!

When we got home we still had a few days left until daddy would come home so we filled our time with play dates with friends from school, a Children's Museum adventure in Eau Claire, lunch at Culver's....
swimming at the Super 8 pool and lunch at Pizza Hut with our free coupons from school for all our reading!!!

A great spring break with my 4 terrific guys!!!

Hey There! We thank all of you so much for all of your prayer support through this entire process. Go sure had His hand in this from the beginning. Anna and Micah are both doing just great. Yesterday was a hard day for Anna, She was very tired and had a hard time as the Doctors began to take her off of some of the pain meds she was not feeling good. She began to get a high temp,but that was all taken care of by early in the night and she slept great. She will be again trying to get of the IV pain meds and move to pills, if this goes well today we will be on our way home to see Drew tomorrow. Anna and I are both really loving the calm personality that God gave to little Micah as we know the high energy that Drew has waiting for us at home. We can't wait to see his little smile again and hear all of his animal noises and cars sounds. It will be so great to see the way that God grows these two boys only 17 months apart. It will be crazy and great all at the same time. Pray

Big Bro Twin Cities Champion/Little Sis Big Woods 1/2 Marathon Champion

My brother and I are the crazy runners in our family! We took on the Twin Cities Marathon challenge on October 7th and trained like mad to get ready for the event. We began the morning feeling great and ready to take on the challenge before us, yet not knowing only one of us would finish. Ben was taking on his first marathon and was looking forward to finishing and enjoying this wild adventure! I however have done a few of these already and was aimed to kick some butt in the process. So, different goals, but the same idea in mind-lets run the race for Christ. The race did not go as planned for me. The weather was extremely hot and humid and it totally took over my body. All I can really remember is thinking, "Wow it is really hot and I am really sweating!" With little to drink I passed out at mile 10 of the marathon! My time at that point was 1 hour 7 minutes..... on track for an amazing marathon. Truly discouraged I attempted to get back in the race to pass out AGAIN at mil

Wolf River White Water Rafting Youth Trip!

We were able to start the tradition of taking the International Falls youth to the great Wolf River. We took a great group of kids who did not know what to expect and drove the 10 hours to the river. We spend 2 days rafting and then hit the road for home. The students and leaders had a great time navigating the rapids themselves, flipping a boat or two and of course the water falls were a huge hit. U had the opportunity to sit down at the camp fire and one day in our boat with some of the students who do not regularly come to our ministry and talk about the relationship with Christ. These discussions where by far the highlight of my trip, getting to encourage students in their faith and hear the testimony about how they came to know the Lord was just awesome. Our first night it rained more than i have ever seen, and most of our tents stayed dry. But our two days on the river could not have been any better bright sun and 85 or so which is really hot for us from the far north. We had on
