School Days Begin!!

Image
School has begun and the boys are getting back into the fall routine! Caleb started 4k this fall at St. Josephs and loves his teacher Mrs. Braats! This first week of school has been a review of shapes, so Caleb thinks school is a piece of cake so far! :)  Andrew and Micah love biking to school and have enjoyed their teachers too. Andrew has Mrs. Karrmann and says he likes her teaching voice (love it) and Micah has Mr. T and loves when he plays his guitar and sings to them!! Both boys still love playing together at recess. Andrew says its a great chance to check in with each other!! So cute!!:) And my baby Jake...love that I still have 3 whole years with him at home before we even think about school!! Realizing more and more how quickly these days/years go by. So thankful my day allows me to enjoy each of the boys throughout the day... whether its in the morning with my little boys or in the evenings with my big boys. Life is too short not to be with my growing 4 boys and

My Garden Buddies!

This is our second summer enjoying the garden with our friends from church. The boys have taken so much interest in this with Kyle and I and it has become a huge highlight for our family.  Most of the time when we go out there I have to slow the boys down from running into the garden and picking everything they see. Andrew is old enough now that he is very careful and we talk a lot about how we know when things are ripe and yummy to eat. When they aren't busy pickers they love to climb trees!! Andrew and Cole have gotten to be good buddies at the garden. Micah loves climbing these trees and eating apples that he finds way up high! Caleb loves to climb too and always calls to me in the garden to watch him do something fancy in the trees.:) The garden has opened up lots of great conversation time with the boys and we have gotten to know each other better by spending time talking lots about God.... and of course lots of silly boy things too!! Thankful for these momen
