Brookings Marathon, SD πŸƒ‍♀️ 3:06:59

I’ve been so excited to blog about this Amazing Day!! πŸ™Œ I’ll try to include as many details as my brain remembers so I can look back on it...for future race reference.  Heading to Brookings, SD  Kyle and I drove and picked up Rick and Tamara in Eden Prairie, it was right on our way and really nice to ride together. The drive was nothing to brag about (lots of farm land and windmills)  but we had fun conversations and found a Subway to stop at for the guys to grab some food. The drive for Chad and Linda was a bit longer than ours. Leah, Mandy, and Jennie weren’t too far back and we all met in Brookings late afternoon, grabbing our own for dinner and connecting later. So glad we all made it safe! Race day! We all piled in Mandy’s mini van...notice the awesome Mom messages written on her vehicleπŸ˜„ (I sure wish the casino lady woulda been more excited about our marathon van!) You could feel the excitement and nerves in the air all the way to the race. Once we arrived we took this photo-

So we may have a pilot on our hands! Micah has been talking about his interest in flying airplanes, so Kyle hooked him up to give it a try. He loved it.🚁 Flying over Menomonie. Thank you to our friend Josh! You are the coolest guy. We appreciated this awesome opportunity for Micah. Dream BIG. 🌟

Mother’s Day!🌷

We had a really fun and unique Mother’s Day this year! Kyle’s mom came and spoke at Cedarbrook on Sunday morning with Kyle, making Mother’s Day super special for us.🌸They did a nice job and so fun to see them in front of church together. Kyle and his mom are inspiring in their roles as pastors, and many appreciated them sharing...so many encouraging words from people that morning.  Kyle always does a nice job on Mother’s Day, making me feel loved and cared for. The last few years we’ve enjoyed making it one of the first times getting our boat out, so that’s what we did! Took the boat and jet skis for a spin...the weather was great! Lots of family snuggles. The boys enjoyed zipping around Kyle and I on the boat. We went to Waterfront for supper and all ordered our favorites before heading home to sit in the hot tub together. I am grateful for these boys of mine who make me feel like the luckiest Mom in the world.πŸ’• Mother’s Day 2021🌷Drew 15, Micah 14, Caleb 11, Jake 9😁growing up so f

It’s been some crazy full days lately but we’re all hanging in there, one day at a time. And truthfully, having a BLAST! It’s just a lot to return to mostly normal life again after our COVID lifestyle. Okay real and raw moment, it’s kickin’ Kyle and my butt but we are such a great team. Can’t imagine life without my main man to run these kids around with! Friday! Yeah, so Caleb and Micah love this tradition on Friday's, what boy wouldn’t? I like to send them off on a Friday morning with an extra boost of fun and reminder to enjoy the day... cause it’s FRIDAY Dudes!!πŸ˜€ Our Bubba is in heaven! He loves ALL things baseball right now, and we’re enjoying the cheering! Although not all the travel.... adjusting slowly. πŸ˜† This game was in Hammond. Micah’s Crushin’ it at Tennis! ... with his partner Aaron.  They’re the captains on the team and they are having a great start to their season, winning all of their matches so far! Super fun to watch. Jake has started!  They started their seaso
