Gunderson Adventures.... where all 6 of Us live life to the fullest!

Dad retired from working 38 years at Coke on December 30th, 2015. Ben, Jesse and I were so proud of our dad and wanted to surprise him by showing up at his work "goodbye" party!  It was a really special afternoon for the original 5 Excited for the many new adventures that lie ahead for him. I am thankful to have such a great relationship with my dad and really look forward to spending more time with him. ALL of Us Celebrate! We had a really fun winter day in January celebrating grandpa as a whole family! Check it out! Bubba pulled out his snowboard madness for us! Drew is the toughest kid ever refusing a scarf over his face when the temps were below zero. But that smile warms me right up! Aunt Kara and Lila Kate! This boy cracks me up with how brave he was, sledding right down the hill to the creek to hang with cousin Micah...sounds like trouble! grandp

Kyle and I had so much fun getting away for a few days to celebrate our 14th anniversary. We went to one of our favorite spots to sneak away together, the north shore! This overlook was taken on our first hike of the week called Britton Peak. We really enjoyed taking our time talking and being together. Often we'd look at each other and say, "It's so great that we love being together!" Although we think about the boys while we're away, we really have a blast just the 2 of us! I feel so blessed to have married my greatest friend. The one who knows me and loves me more then any other. It was so pretty hiking in the woods together and the weather wasn't too cold! Love this guy soooo much! It was really pretty how narrow the river had gotten on the Caribou trail. Thankful that our love for each other is unconditional. That we help each other through the tough stuff in life and are each others biggest fans in reaching our goals and dreams in life.

Before heading into the new year, we wanted to list our Top 5 Favorite family Events in 2015~ Exploring downtown Chicago together!  Heading to Duluth camping the day school got out!  Going to Webb lake!  Being with family and friends at the cabin! Spending time together at Wisconsin Dells! 2015 has been an AWESOME year of growing closer together as a family.  Kyle and I are enjoying the many memories we are building with our 4 boys. Lord, thank you for being so good to us.  Welcome 2016!!!

 Drew (10) Micah (8) Caleb (6) Jake (4)~It's Christmas Eve!  Getting ready for Santa to come!  Christmas morning smiles with new fleece pillows made by Micah!  Santa brought Gatorade! Fun morning opening gifts and enjoying a nice breakfast together.  Grandmas house for the day! Enjoying time with our cousins. So fun to watch the excitement from all the kids opening gifts.  Elijah man opening up his new soccer ball!  One of Caleb's favorite gifts this Christmas! This snowboard was a for sure highlight.  To the cabin for 3 days! All 4 boys got a Wii U for Christmas!!  Anyone ready to take on Caleb at checkers? He ROCKS at this game!  Our Callie girl did not feel the best this Christmas as she had surgery right after Christmas. We are hoping she feels better soon. Love these smiles!  Feelin' cool is the BEST! Drew loved all his UM gear!  Greatest memory of Christmas this year was getting SNOW!!!  Lots of fun playing with our cousins!  B
