Kyle and I had so much fun getting away for a few days to celebrate our 14th anniversary. We went to one of our favorite spots to sneak away together, the north shore!
This overlook was taken on our first hike of the week called Britton Peak.
We really enjoyed taking our time talking and being together. Often we'd look at each other and say, "It's so great that we love being together!" Although we think about the boys while we're away, we really have a blast just the 2 of us! I feel so blessed to have married my greatest friend. The one who knows me and loves me more then any other.
It was so pretty hiking in the woods together and the weather wasn't too cold! Love this guy soooo much!
It was really pretty how narrow the river had gotten on the Caribou trail.
Thankful that our love for each other is unconditional. That we help each other through the tough stuff in life and are each others biggest fans in reaching our goals and dreams in life. God knew exactly what He was up to...
A perfect match!
Got to our favorite spot where we dated and came to many times over the years with the boys and by ourselves...Caribou falls! We love being silly together! I dared Kyle to climb the falls like he does in the summer at these falls, but he chickened out. Boo!
Quiet moments together...
A time to refresh in our amazing room that had an incredible view of Lake Superior. We loved going from the indoor to the outdoor hot tubs! And I didn't challenge us to canon balls in the outside hot tub this year!
A new trail we hiked this year was Oberg trail. It was absolutely beautiful w 5 great views of Lake Superior.
Gorgeous Sunset. Such a wonderful anniversary get-a-way! I will miss these quiet moments with Kyle as we quickly get back to the normal of everyday. Love you Kyle! Life with you is truly wonderful. Happy 14!
