There's No Place Like Home.....And Mommy!

Image
As parents we find that there are moments our kids really want to spend time with their daddy and moments that mommy seems best.... This blog is focused on mommy because it seems as though my sweet boys really need that nurturing and comforting love that only a mommy can give. So, it is fun to share a few sweet mommy moments!!! Micah's love language we are learning is TIME. So, Micah and I love to play the game Sorry, snuggle reading stories and laughing together, rubbing his back and playing Angry Birds!! Micah loves to share about his day, tell me how he served Jesus at school and what him and Andrew did at recess. Andrew's love language is also TIME and he loves when we are together as a family. Andrew and daddy brought home flowers one Tuesday night after piano just because he had missed mommy so much at school that day! Andrew, your love for your family is a blessing to all of us. Thank you for your kindness and know that we love how BIG your heart is!!

Kyle and I love watching our boys excitement over Christmas morning! As always, the boys are pretty sure they heard Santa Clause in the house and could hear those reindeer on the roof!  Even though they were pretty sure they wouldn't get coal in their stockings I could hear a sense of relief fill the house when their stockings were full that morning! Oh thank you Santa!! :)  It was a Teenage Muten Ninja Turtle Christmas in our house!!! Yay turtles!!!  Bubba loves his turtle hat!  Thinking Jake felt a little gipped as he got boats and mittens for Christmas... I love this face!  Jake had fun unwrapping this year! In fact, we had to open gifts quick before Jake started opening everyones gifts for them!!! Lots of wonderful gifts given to us from our families... the boys have been busy playing since we've come home! Kyle and I love watching our boys enjoy the true reason of Christmas as we celebrated Jesus' birthday together, but also to see the twink
