2018 was GREAT!!

Image
Hard to believe another year has come to a close! Thankful for our family, for our experiences of ups and downs we went through together, and learning how perfect our family fits together. There are now 8 of us in our home! It can be chaotic, it can be restful and then playful, and sometimes it can be down right stressful. However, at the end of each day this year, we have felt closer to one another and to the Lord.  For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 We are so thankful for good health this year, safety, a warm home, and supportive family and friends who walk alongside us each and everyday.  Blessed beyond measure. 2018 was GREAT!! Excited for what 2019 will bring. We trust in your plans for us Lord!!

Christmas at the cabin!

Christmas at the cabin continues to be magical every year. We so enjoy packing up the car and getting away for a few days to play and be with family. We love seeing all our stockings lined up and the huge Christmas tree in the family room. It was another wonderful Christmas. Its fun to find Nana and Gg playing games with the boys or visiting with them on the couch. Nana gave Caleb this new Viking cribbage board and he loved it!! This Christmas we had two beautiful young girls join us for Christmas. Sara and Phil have started doing foster care and we were beyond excited to spend time with these girls! One of our favorite pics of these two at the pool each Christmas. Same place, same spot, same two little boys. Callie is a junior in high school already! I so enjoy our chats and time to hang out. I am beyond proud of her! Snuggle time for us with Callie! Moments together on the lake with this huge bonfire, ice skating and lots of laughter. The cabin is so special to us. It’s just the perf

We had a fun weekend cheering for Micah at his home tournament!! These 6th grade boys are off to a great start for the season!  We won the first 2 games against Colfax and Stillwater...then sadly lost to Prescott.
