Gunderson Adventures.... where all 6 of Us live life to the fullest!

 It was a beautiful sunny day for our Zen tubing!☀️This was really fun, just floating and talking together. So glad we brought the cooler for drinks and snacks too! The river felt refreshing, I slipped in a few times.😀 One more foot soak before heading home! It was really a wonderful week with these ladies! Thankful for time away to explore and rest this week. I went on so many fun running adventures this week, which I love. And lots of great quality girl time. So blessed❤️ Time to go see my guys!

The waterfalls here are so pretty! We had a fun day exploring the waterfalls in our area. Of course we had a good laugh over this falls name🤣 We are so enjoying time together in Gods creation. Another beautiful day!

  Zip lining in North Carolina! Look at this great view to start our day.😁 This was a highlight to our week! An absolute blast. I wasn’t sure how I’d do going into this as I am afraid of heights, BUT once I got all suited up I did Fantastic!😃 I thought it was so pretty zippin above the tree line! More pretty then scary, for sure. My boys and Kyle would have loved this.❤️Hoping we can experience this as a family sometime. We ate supper at Brixx and I loved my Hawaiian pizza! So good 😋 Got this cute photo with Callie in the big chair too!💕 Drove to see the sunset before heading to bed....another wonderful day together.🥰 Day3 complete🌅

  North Carolina day2 rainy morning here. I took off on a run trying to figure out my surroundings. Well, what I discovered this morning is either you run UPhill or DOWNhill, not many flat road running on this run. Got back and had a really good breakfast of oatmeal, blackberries and blueberries! I hope I can have this EVERY Morning.😄 very hilly run this morning! Today was a rest day for Terri and I, Sara and Callie went to take a photo in Tennessee today. Unfortunately while they were gone, our car overheated. Sara had to drive to the airport to get us a new vehicle. All went smooth but kinda a bummer.  I went for my afternoon run and then we got ready for a fun night out together. Foot Soaking felt so good!  Really fun experience too! Really warm water in a salty soak for me, they recommended this for all my running I do. It felt amazing!! Shopping downtown was really fun! We loved the atmosphere! Super fun. Mountain Madre Mexican was my favorite meal of the week!  Chicken fajitas S

North Carolina girls trip landed around 11a and met up with the girls! So much fun to see them and feel excited for the week together.😁 after getting our car we stopped at Zaxbys for lunch, it was a great place for chicken and French fries! We started heading to Asheville when we quickly decided to change plans and jump into our first hike. So glad we did because Chimney Rock Mountain was beautiful! There were lots of steps to climb, our crew did really well. Nice to have the elevator option too. Incredible views Found this awesome waterfall, felt great to cool off. After hiking we went to our Bed&Breakfast Bent Bear Resort, where we are staying. Our place is really nice! I love this porch so much- I’m thankful for time away on a girls trip- excited for what’s in store this week! Ready for adventure, while riding in the backseat in Asheville NC.💛  

 Always the BEST way to Kickoff our Summer! A beautiful weather week, no rain in the forecast.   June  is here! We’ve started this month out at a quick pace between sports&work schedules, Kyle heading to Honduras 🇭🇳 , wrapping up the school year, and the summer heat jumping right in!☀️ The days are full but we sure are excited to begin these summer months ahead and enjoy a slower pace soon. This week God has spoken to my heart about seeking His Joy in the busy or challenging moments...and remember what’s most important...adjusting our lives to Gods leading in our lives. This photo of Kyle in Honduras fits this perfect. To be right where God is calling us, is right where we want to be.  I love Kyle’s heart in serving and living out Joy! 🌟  I feel Gods Peace on my quiet morning runs, lately the sunrises have been so pretty! With Kyle gone this week, feeling His PEACE has been so helpful in getting me through the week strong.  Lord, you are my Peace💛 Thankful for Beautiful moments that reveal Gods Joy&Peace this week.❤️

  Friday’s are MY favorite! I’m so thankful Kyle and I value our Friday’s off together. We’ve done this now for many years, used to not be as relaxing when all the boys were younger and we called it “daddy day,” a full family day together. But, even then, our Friday’s were really special and unique. Our ministry life creates some pretty cool space in our life to do fun things together! Last Friday we enjoyed our final Friday off together, just the two of us, before the boys are home for the summer. This pic was taken right after we got back from our tandem ride and lunch date!
