Funny Selfies+Caleb's concert+Drew time+Boat time!

Image
It always makes me smile when the boys get a hold of my phone and take pics! Here are a few silly pics they took this week! Jake was waiting in the car while I ran out and picked up Caleb from school! Caleb crushed it at his music concert at school last Friday! So proud of him and the songs they sang were really fun! All about Spring! He has such a great smile.:) I'm super sad that my Wednesday night hang time with Drew is now complete. The boys wrap up Awana this week and it has been such a treat to spend Wednesday nights with Drew. So many great chats, studying Gods word together, and incredibly fun snacks we shared that the brothers know nothing about! I cherished every single Wednesday. He will be starting youth group in a few weeks with daddy and is so ready to hang with the bigger kids! Hoping we still make time for a bike ride and our special chats! Drew has the biggest heart and is going to do Big things for God. I just know it! Thankful God blessed me to

Easter!

Easter weekend was filled with lots of really special memories for us. Looking at all our pictures taken makes me smile and feel so grateful for family and time together.  These flowers reminded me of my grandma Dorothy who loved pink carnations on Easter. I just had to pick them up for our kitchen table! Caleb and I had so much fun chatting and frosting Easter cookies together! He stuck with me for every cookie and enjoyed eating some along the way. We cracked open grandma and grandpas Easter basket on Friday and found some fun stuff! Nana found some great Easter egg activities that we had fun doing together! "Match the Eggs" and egg decorating were our 1st ones! Easter Egg Rolling Race was a HIT!! Take a peak at this! We also played Egg Toss in the driveway and watched lots of eggs smash! Glad Drew was willing to hose off the mess! So great and really a fun time together. The weather remained cloudy but we were having too much fun to notice!

New Dishwasher+time together

We got a new dishwasher!!!! Super duper excited about this because I so needed a new one!! I am married to the most wonderful man to know when enough is enough of a dishwasher that simply did not work!   Kyle picked up our new dishwasher last week and my parents offered to come help and hang out with us for the day! Double bonus for us!! All went well and the dishwasher is running great!  Mom of course always has a blast playing with the boys and visiting with me. We went on 2 walks together!  The weather was incredible getting up into the 70's! We took full advantage after our dishwasher project to be outside as much as possible. We decided to take our lunch outside and enjoy the sunshine! 1st picnic of the season!!  Kyle treated us to our 1st boat ride of the year in the afternoon and it was so great to all hop in and take a ride!! My dad loved every minute. Makes my heart so happy to spend time with them.  Enjoyed chatting in the boat and laughing together! Mom a

Star Student!

Star Student of the Week!  Caleb James Caleb was so excited last Friday when he came home from school to tell us he gets to be the star student in his class! We brainstormed as a family and he came up with his 2 favorite things to share with his classmates~his little brother Jake AND his wake board! In addition, he asked if I could come and have lunch with him and make his very favorite bars. It was going to be a very special week for our 2nd grader! Take a peak at how the week turned out- Caleb did a great job at sharing. He started out by sharing about his little brother and how they are roommates and they love to play together. He also said Jake's favorite food is strawberries (see pic) and he enjoys playing outside shooting hoops or playing baseball in the field. Jake loved every minute listening to Caleb and answering any questions the kids had. One boy asked Jake if he likes Legos and Jake said, "No, I only like playing outside with my brothers." It was rea

Basketball+Family Celebrating!

Friday It was a fun family weekend!!                             Last weekend was completely packed with all things basketball and great family time for us! Friday night the big guys signed up to be apart of Hoops for Heart, a great fundraiser for our school raising money for the American Heart Association. Incredible turnout and our family had an absolute BLAST! Thanks to the help of Kyle Moore! The boys had been preparing for this for a few weeks! Topped off the night with ice cream sundaes at home and the boys loved talking about the entire night. Love times like that as a family. Kyle and I enjoy listening to all the boys have to say, they are so funny! Saturday Saturday morning back to the courts to play some 5th grade 3 on 3 bball! Drew and his buddies pulled a team together and had a great time.  It was a 1st place kind of day!!! Boys played hard and rocked out their shirts Kahne designed for the boys to wear. Drew has such awesome friends!!  Here are their
