Snow Days!

Image
Each day the boys look forward to having our "family activity" time together once daddy comes home from work. Lately, our afternoons have been spent at the ice skating rank across the street from our house, playing in our snow fort or climbing BIG snow banks around the house! Andrew is becoming more and more confident on his skates and loves to race daddy around the rank playing tag or hockey. Micah enjoys learning how to skate this year and holds on to his chair tightly! When he gets tired, Micah loves to sit on his chair and have mommy push him around the ice to catch daddy and Andrew! Caleb can only stay outside for about 45 minutes until he lets us all know that he has had enough fresh air! The boys are standing on top of their snow fort! This is a great picture as it shows truly how much snow we have right now! Caleb loves spending time in this sled! Especially when we spin him on the ice or run fast!

What a BIG Boy!!!

Caleb James is already 7 months old!!! What a wonderful addition to the Gunderson clan he is! The first trait in becoming a Gunderson is to LOVE nap times. Kyle has loved nap time ever since I've known him and still does today:) All the boys in our house love to sleep and sleep well. Caleb is sleeping through the night and loves his 1 hour morning nap and 2-3 hour afternoon nap! We are so thankful. Caleb loves to sleep on his tummy like the picture shows and we are hoping he foregoes the famous "bald spot" that Andrew and Micah both got at about this age! The second trait in becomming a Gunderson is to love being active and staying busy! Caleb loves our afternoon family activities and has enjoyed going to the skating rank with the boys! He especially loves when Kyle and I swirl him around the ice on this sled!! Although Caleb is not quite stable enough to stand up on his own for long, he loves playing with this toy and will sit and play with many of his favorites. Caleb

Christmas Memories cont.....

I thought I would add a few more fun pictures of our Christmas memories! Here are some pictures of the boys getting ready for santa to come! Of course there looks to be enough treats for all the reindeer as well! Andrew and Micah were saying "HOHOHO" in the chair they wanted santa to take a rest on and enjoy some treats while he stopped by. A fun shot with all their santa hats on!!! Caleb looks a little in shock! Micah is opening his red scooter! Caleb's first Christmas! What a joy to have Caleb be apart of our family. He is a blessing to us all! I just loved this Santa hat! He looks like he is unsure of what is really going on with his serious expression:) What a fun Christmas 2009 was!

Christmas Memories

Christmas 2009 held many memories that we wouldn't want to miss sharing. Our family decided to head out of town a littler earlier this year as a snow storm began Christmas Eve night. We made arrangements with Santa to come a day early so we could celebrate a portion of Christmas at our home. Andrew and Micah really took interest in Santa this year and loved talking about him and all his reindeer that were visiting us! They left him cookies and milk and went to bed with much anticipation! What a thrill it was for Kyle and I to celebrate Christmas with our boys and the fun of Santa coming! We also had fun celebrating Caleb's first Christmas and took lots of pictures in his "santa" hat. We headed to Brooklyn Park first to celebrate Christmas with my family. We stayed 4 nights in the cities enjoying sledding, eating grandmas cookies, singing silly songs with grandpa, opening presents, playing with cousin Kaylee, shopping and loving every minute with aunts and uncles, gran
