Getting Bigger!

Caleb is 9 months old already! It has been so much fun watching him grow in the last month! Caleb has 4 teeth now (two on bottom and two on top), talking all the time (no words yet!), crawling all over the house, and eating more foods like the rest of us. Caleb weighs 17 1/2 lbs which puts him in the 9% in weight and he is only in the 17% in height! We definately have a little man on our hands! Andrew and Micah were much more in the 50% and over for both weight and height. Kyle is a bit worried Caleb is going to be short like his mommy. I think it sounds great because maybe I'll have one little track star in the family! Caleb is not a big sleeper but we manage to get a 2 1/2 hour nap in the afternoon and he sleeps through the night, mostly. Caleb still occassionally likes his middle of the night bottle. I have to admit that I still enjoy this middle of the night feeding as it allows some quiet snuggle time. These can be the most precious moments when having little children. Nothing is sweeter than holding a sleeping baby in your arms.
Caleb loves playing with his older brothers when he gets to sit in their forts and watch them shoot hoops! He also loves going for walks in the stroller and going for bike rides in the trailer! Caleb likes plants and loves pulling out the dirt and sucking on the leaves.....yes he is the 3rd child! He also enjoys watching mommy blow dry her hair and holds her hair brush while he waits. Caleb loves to dance with mommy and groove to Toby Mac (mommies favorite music)! Andrew and Micah love watching Caleb crawl and get into mischief, but most of all they love taking baths with him and splashing in the water.
It has been fun watching Caleb grow and learn about the world around him. We are all still getting use to the idea that he can get into everything! Soon he will be walking! We will keep you posted.....
