Gunderson Adventures.... where all 6 of Us live life to the fullest!

 Jake passed the swimming test this week at the pool! He took off right for the diving board with no fear at all. Look at that air he got! It is so fun to watch my boys do brave things. Jake, you were a highlight to my week this week! Great week spending it with these 3 while Kyle and Drew were camping this week. Fun memories with them here at home.... like drinking Cherry 7Up with licorice for straws!!  Here is Drew and his buddies heading out to the north shore with the youth group!! They had so much fun and it has been awesome to hear about all the fun memories they had today.  Thankful they made it home safe after a rainy night drive home. Drew said, "Mom I was drinking Mountain Dew and chips at 3AM!!"  :) 

 We had a fun day celebrating Kyle, an incredible dad to these 4 boys. Raising 4 boys is no easy task and as they are getting older they desire more and more time to chat and talk with dad. Kyle does such a great job trying to give each of them his full attention. We love you Kyle and I pray for you often as your work load is full at church and the demands in our home are great.  You are a wonderful dad, husband and pastor. We are so thankful for you!  Strawberry day!! A fun summer activity for us each June! The boys are great strawberry pickers and have fun helping me make jam when we get back home! It has become a fun day together!  The berries were really sweet and tasty!  2 buckets made enough for our crew to make 13 jars of jam and enough for some strawberry cheesecake throughout the year! Drew was at basketball when we were picking but helped us at home after! Fun day!

Our week at Webb lake with my family has truly become our Summer Kickoff! We had an incredible week away. We completely shut down, rest and enjoy being together with no distractions.  We got on the beach the moment we got there... the weather was perfect.  Here are some pics from our vacation! This was our first day... we didn't waste time in the cabin... we went right to the beach! Jake and Drew fishing with grandpa. The boys stayed in the water all week... day and night Sunset with our boat Every evening looked similar to this. Fun in the water, skiing!! priceless family on the beach time. The guys are relaxing and enjoying time together. Just hanging around! Found these 4 at the playground chillin' Girls shopping and lunch day in Walker! Famous turtle races! Caleb turned 8 at the lake!! His brothers were so excited to celebrate him! Lots of singing! Bubba got a new kneeboard so he hopped on the table to try it out. Looks

Our bubba will be turning 8 soon so we wanted to celebrate him big before summer took off!! He had no trouble thinking about his friends he wanted to invite and that he wanted a kickball and pool party at Wakanda park!! We had a great time playing kickball and these boys were really good! You could tell they'd had some recess practice at school! Caleb's team, the Mustang's did great!! Here's the birthday crew looking warm from playing and ready to head over to the pool!  So Caleb shot out so fast from this water tube my phone couldn't keep up! He is under water somewhere!! The weather was just perfect for a fun summer birthday party! It was sunny and warm all afternoon! Caleb is such a sweet friend and loved celebrating with his buddies. He told us it was really hard to pick just a handful of friends because he has so many! Love it! Great day celebrating. Looking forward to celebrating him again next week on his real day!! Caleb James
