Gunderson Adventures.... where all 6 of Us live life to the fullest!

  Celebrating our 20th Anniversary! Flew out of Minneapolis last night around 6:30p for a smooth flight to Miami FL, landing around 11p. Travel and car rental went smooth, we were at our place and in bed by 1AM. Very thankful all went well getting here. Excited for this time away with Kyle❤️ Our place for Monday and Tuesday! Staying in Miami for a few nights to experience city and beach life together…this is our place! It does not overlook the beach but the beach and ocean are right outside the hotel.  1st run!  Kyle and I both went out to explore a bit and found the Miami boardwalk, which was excellent for running! Here are our first views of Miami since we got in so late last night. The temp was probably our biggest shocker because 75 degrees feels very warm from home temps that are well below zero!  Bring on the warm sunshine! ☀️ Miami boardwalk- nailed it 🕶 Greek salad w chicken/ burger and fries for Us! Lunch tasted great, we were really hungry. Normans America...

Can’t think of a better way to start off 2022 then having the varsity boys basketball team over for dinner for Taco Night! 🌮  We were impressed they all fit around our new dinner table and high top counter! Score!! These dudes aren’t little either. Drew seemed to have a fun night! After dinner the guys all went downstairs to hangout and pretty soon were playing hide and seek in our basement!🤣 Good times. 2022 is off to a Great Start!  

 We had such a nice and really enjoyable New Years together with our guys. Thankful for a quiet New Year’s Eve with each other and our boys…went to dinner at Red Robin, one of our favorite spots to go as a family.🎉 After dinner we went to the outdoor Christmas lights in Chippewa falls, they do such a fantastic job! So so pretty! The boys went outside so I could get a few pics of them with the lights. We missed Drew tonight, but he had so much fun skiing with Daisy and a big group of friends.  It was a perfect night together. Micah went over to his buddy John’s and Caleb and Jake invited their friend Carter to join us for our quiet New Years party at home.  2022, Kyle and I are so excited for the many more adventures we will take! Happy New Year! 🎊 

 The boys decided we should start opening gifts by 8a, so they could sleep in. Crazy we have gotten to this day! 💤 I-still remember the boys coming in our room and jumping on our bed very very early on Christmas morning begging to open presents and now we are sleeping in until 8a!🤣too funny. Great gifts and thankful hearts💕 Christmas Day family photo at grandma and grandpas! Love the sights and sounds on Christmas🎄thankful for a wonderful day with family! At the cabin  ice golfing baby!!! We had a blast. Very very chilly year at the cabin but still had a great time. One of my favorites at the cabin….Kyle’s bonfires. Christmas tournament!🏀 That’s right, our Drew man was getting warmed up for some awesome basketball right after Christmas. Sure missed him at the cabin but he rocked it in this tournament and we had so much fun cheering for him! Fun to have our family here too Cheering!  Love seeing these boys chillin together. Nice dinner out after the games❤️ Our Christ...

  Baking and decorating Jesus cake with Jake❤️ Jake and I so enjoyed making this cake together and we love this tradition of celebrating Jesus birthday on Christmas Eve. Gingerbread teams  we paired up this year so that A- there is no fighting over decorating 1 gingerbread and B- because the younger guys love big brother time! Here’s our 2021 Gingerbread houses!  Basketball season is in full swing and Kyle and I are enjoying the craziness! So much fun cheering for our guys doing what they love. And fun to see their hard work paying off on the court this season! Some of Drew’s 1st Varsity game plays…#4 Sophmore. Its  been fun seeing him play a lot for JV games, and we all get super excited when he gets to play with the Varsity boys! He’s gotten in a few times so far! This sums up my birthday well. Family time.  It was such a wonderful day celebrating with these silly boys and Kyle. Thankful for time with my boys, lots of laughter, great food, and thoughtful gifts too. Favorite dinner on my birthday? Meatballs and spaghetti!😋 Favorite dessert? Chocolate cake, please!  Favorite place to be? Home with my family. 41 is going to be great because I got to celebrate My day in the BEST way! Here’s to another year of great health and fun memories!  Loving God. Loving Others. Loving life.❤️
