Happy Birthday Andrew!

What a big boy!
Alex and Asher are Andrew closest friends. Alex loves helping Andrew feel special and always includes him in on activities. Asher loves wrestling with Andrew and playing with balls.

We had a great time celebrating Andrew's 2nd birthday! He had 2 great parties celebrating with Family and Friends. Although Andrew is still so young to grasp the total birthday effect, he definately felt loved and special. He are so blessed by Andrews energy and joy he brings to all of us each and everyday.
We celebrated with family on October 7th at Nana and GGs house since we were in the cities. Grandpa made an amazing "Fishy" cake and put lots of love into it for Drew. This year Andrew had a "Fish" theme. Andrew took a little more interest in cake this year as he poked his fingers in the frosting to sneak a taste of his delicious cake. It was so fun celebrating with Great Grandmas and Grandpas, aunts and uncles, Great Aunts and Uncles, Grandparents, and us. Some gifts that Andrew received were play tables, art supplies, Vikings outfit, magnetic balls and some skittles!

We then celebrated with friends at home on October 13th at our house. Andrew had fun playing with his friends Alex, Asher, Katy, Ellie, Rachel, Emma and John. His babysitter Paige came too! We also invited many families from church that are like family to us here in International Falls. We were blessed by their presence in helping us make Andrew feel special too! We had fun eating cake and ice cream, playing balloon games (Andrews favorite) and watching Andrew enjoy his special day.

Kyle and I can hardly believe our little guy is 2 years old. We adore all the words, expressions, and wonder we observe and experience with him everyday. Andrews newest words are:

-"Holy Smokes!"
-"Dorothy"- Great Grandmas name
-"Jesse"- Uncle
-"Ben"- Uncle
-"Rara"-Aunt Sara
- "Cookies"
- "Cheese"- Cheese crackers
-"Crackers"
-"Banana"
"Spoon"
Andrew knows about 50 words or so and continues to add to them daily! It is such a joy for Kyle and I to be apart of Andrews life and begin to see the gifts God has given to Andrew to further His kingdom. One specific area I see in Andrew is his sensitive heart. He protects Micah and worries about him when he gets hurt. He will give him kisses and come to me and say
"Oh no mommy!"

Enjoy the pictures!

Wow, sounds like Andrew had a blast celebrating his birthday! What fun it is to hear you talk about Andrew and the way he is growing to be his own little person. Kids can be such a handful at times but when they say certain things that you cannot help but laugh at or things calm down and you are able to cuddle with them, you are really able to reflect and see the amazing gift they are. There are days I look at Brenna and think about what an amazing God we have and how wonderful and innocent He created children to be. If we could all only stay that innocent and fun...

We are so glad to hear you are doing well up in International Falls. We miss you tons here in the cities but we are blessed to know that God is using our friends for his ministry and it sounds like that is exactly where He needs you.

Hugs all around!
Jeremie, Renee and Brenna
