Gunderson Adventures.... where all 6 of Us live life to the fullest!

We took on our first camping trip ever with our 3 little boys! Kyle and I decided to take the smart approach and bring grandpa and grandma with us on the adventure. We really had a fun time even though it was a bit of work. Andrew and Micah loved the idea of being on our own little island out on Rainy Lake in a tent sleeping in sleeping bags! They could hardly wait to get camp set up to start fishing and swimming! Caleb however (remember he is only 1 years old) decided camping was fun during the day but not so fun in the tent at night. Kyle was not a huge fan of little Caleb by morning:) All in all our camping trip was a blast watching the boys swim, do some fishing and making yummy snacks over the fire! Thank you grandpa and grandma for all your help in making our first camping trip so special for the boys! Andrew loves fishing! He is even getting brave enough to come show us all the fish he catches! He loves eating the fish too for lunch with his grandpa:)

We were so excited to have Nana and GG come visit us this weekend! We've had so much fun playing outside in this beautiful summer weather. It was fun to play tee ball, throw the football, play in the water, go to the park, go out on Rainy Lake and make silly crafts! Nana brought up a craft for the boys to make race cars! This was a huge hit and Andrew and Micah had car races at the park to see which was faster! They could really fly down those slides! Ready, Set, Go!!!!! We also took Nana and GG to our churches "Block Party." Andrew and Micah got their faces painted, played games and we all ate supper together. It was so fun having Nana and GG with us this weekend! We were so thankful for such great weather!

We had such a fun 4th of July weekend racing in the Bronco 5k, having picnics, going to the parade and watching fireworks! Although the weather was extremely hot and muggy we had a wonderful weekend celebrating with friends and spending time with our boys. Linda and I ran in the Bronco 5k! Linda has been a great running friend of mine and we love talking about our racing goals and being moms of busy boys. Andrew and Micah both ran in the Kidrun and were awesome! Kyle and I were so proud of their first race. The boys were really excited to get powerade when they finished! Way to go Boys! The boys and I went home with ribbons and medals, powerade and tee shirts! We had fun despite how HOT it was! We had a picnic and swam after our race to cool off!
