4th of July!

We had such a fun 4th of July weekend racing in the Bronco 5k, having picnics, going to the parade and watching fireworks! Although the weather was extremely hot and muggy we had a wonderful weekend celebrating with friends and spending time with our boys. Linda and I ran in the Bronco 5k! Linda has been a great running friend of mine and we love talking about our racing goals and being moms of busy boys.
Andrew and Micah both ran in the Kidrun and were awesome! Kyle and I were so proud of their first race. The boys were really excited to get powerade when they finished!

Way to go Boys!The boys and I went home with ribbons and medals, powerade and tee shirts! We had fun despite how HOT it was!We had a picnic and swam after our race to cool off! Andrew and Micah both told me that running is a lot of work! They were exhausted! Caleb looks like such a big boy sitting at the picnic table! Hard to believe he is already 1 years old!
Today we went to the 4th of July parade and had so much fun watching all the floats go by and looking to see who might throw candy! The boys are wearing their running shirts!

Caleb looks festive wearing his red, white and blue! He loved the parade and listening to all the fire trucks and bands! Caleb loves noise and action:)

Grandmas Marathon- getting faster!!

3:00:38 Grandmas Marathon PR!! I’m still smiling…things are coming along nicely in my marathon expertise! Haha, Im just being silly but I really am learning more as I go-what works best for me, what doesn’t.  June 17th was a blast!! Cramps hit strong in my left calf around mile 18 and then my pace got more limited as I went, I was so scared I would pull something that I tried to find the balance of push and hold up! Super proud of this race and the battle I fought. The marathon is a beast and continues to challenge me! Games ON still for the CIM Marathon on December 3rd. 😁First up though, trails and less miles for me for awhile. My friend Leah is a true gem, someone I really enjoy sharing running miles and life with. Kyle, Micah and I enjoyed time with Leah’s family in Duluth. Getting better and getting ready to go home!

Hey There! We thank all of you so much for all of your prayer support through this entire process. Go sure had His hand in this from the beginning. Anna and Micah are both doing just great. Yesterday was a hard day for Anna, She was very tired and had a hard time as the Doctors began to take her off of some of the pain meds she was not feeling good. She began to get a high temp,but that was all taken care of by early in the night and she slept great. She will be again trying to get of the IV pain meds and move to pills, if this goes well today we will be on our way home to see Drew tomorrow. Anna and I are both really loving the calm personality that God gave to little Micah as we know the high energy that Drew has waiting for us at home. We can't wait to see his little smile again and hear all of his animal noises and cars sounds. It will be so great to see the way that God grows these two boys only 17 months apart. It will be crazy and great all at the same time. Pray

Friday came quick!😅

 These full days have gone by super fast this week. Teaching full days to students who need my full attention, getting over a cold this week, spending time with all the boys each night, and keeping up with Kyle’s busy church schedule has had us all feeling like it has been a quick week! Micah and Caleb had a tennis meeting this week to get ready for their spring season, Kyle and I are really excited to cheer them on soon! Maybe sooner with how warm our weather has been this winter. It’s been fun to hear that Micah has been at the courts a lot already with his buddies, praying he has a solid season ahead for his Junior year.  Micah will be 17yrs old next Tuesday! It’s so crazy to think I have an 18yr old, almost 17yr old, 15yr old, and 12yr old….I wish I could keep them little.❤️ Each season of life looks so different.
