Webb Lake 2012

Another great week at Webb Lake!!! The boys are old enough now that they are remembering some of the fun traditions and memories we've made at this place and count down the days till we get to head out and spend a whole week relaxing with family!
 Grandpa was patient enough to take us all out fishing in the mornings and we loved every chance to not only spend time with him but to catch fish too! We all took turns in the fishing boat and I loved this shot of the "big" boys!

Caleb turned 3 years old while we were at the lake and we celebrated his party by having a bug hunt and eating dirt cake for dessert! These are our silly bug hunters!

One of the reasons going to the lake is so special to me is because we are able to spend quality and quantity time with our family. My grandparents are still able to join us and my boys have such an awesome relationship with them solely due to having the chance to play and be with them each year at the lake! I love this picture of grandpa Curt and Micah. The time that we are able to spend with them at the lake is something that means the world to me. Just precious:)

 Grandpa loves fishing with his boys at the lake! As the boys get older grandpa loves teaching them more serious techniques on how to be great fishermen! Anytime the boat was open, Andrew made sure to check if grandpa was ready to go fishing!
 Micah is getting more patient in the boat as he gets older! Way to go Micah!

The boys loved taking turns sleeping together in these silly beds. We loved the floral bedding! Beautiful and sooo boy like!!!
Thanks to my family for making it another great week at the lake. Nothing fancy about it....just being together with those we love the most!

Grandmas Marathon- getting faster!!

3:00:38 Grandmas Marathon PR!! I’m still smiling…things are coming along nicely in my marathon expertise! Haha, Im just being silly but I really am learning more as I go-what works best for me, what doesn’t.  June 17th was a blast!! Cramps hit strong in my left calf around mile 18 and then my pace got more limited as I went, I was so scared I would pull something that I tried to find the balance of push and hold up! Super proud of this race and the battle I fought. The marathon is a beast and continues to challenge me! Games ON still for the CIM Marathon on December 3rd. 😁First up though, trails and less miles for me for awhile. My friend Leah is a true gem, someone I really enjoy sharing running miles and life with. Kyle, Micah and I enjoyed time with Leah’s family in Duluth. Her sister Sara and brother-in-law Mike made us feel so welcome and special!  I’ve been getting faster and continue to PR each year since my late 30s, in fact the last time I raced Grandmas Marathon I ran a 3:16

Getting better and getting ready to go home!

Hey There! We thank all of you so much for all of your prayer support through this entire process. Go sure had His hand in this from the beginning. Anna and Micah are both doing just great. Yesterday was a hard day for Anna, She was very tired and had a hard time as the Doctors began to take her off of some of the pain meds she was not feeling good. She began to get a high temp,but that was all taken care of by early in the night and she slept great. She will be again trying to get of the IV pain meds and move to pills, if this goes well today we will be on our way home to see Drew tomorrow. Anna and I are both really loving the calm personality that God gave to little Micah as we know the high energy that Drew has waiting for us at home. We can't wait to see his little smile again and hear all of his animal noises and cars sounds. It will be so great to see the way that God grows these two boys only 17 months apart. It will be crazy and great all at the same time. Pray

Friday came quick!😅

 These full days have gone by super fast this week. Teaching full days to students who need my full attention, getting over a cold this week, spending time with all the boys each night, and keeping up with Kyle’s busy church schedule has had us all feeling like it has been a quick week! Micah and Caleb had a tennis meeting this week to get ready for their spring season, Kyle and I are really excited to cheer them on soon! Maybe sooner with how warm our weather has been this winter. It’s been fun to hear that Micah has been at the courts a lot already with his buddies, praying he has a solid season ahead for his Junior year.  Micah will be 17yrs old next Tuesday! It’s so crazy to think I have an 18yr old, almost 17yr old, 15yr old, and 12yr old….I wish I could keep them little.❤️ Each season of life looks so different.
