Gunderson Adventures.... where all 6 of Us live life to the fullest!

Andrew and Micah were excited to participate in their school fun run on Saturday! The Acorn Dash was a blast for our whole family to be apart of. We all got bib numbers...even our little Jake. :) Jacob was ready for the race and to ride along to watch his big brothers run a whole mile!!! I love this kind of event where our whole family can be outside, getting exercise and being together. I was in my glory! Running is such a passion of mine, so to enjoy the morning with my boys running was really fun!!! The race began and Micah took off leaving us all behind! He blew right past everyone! I think he may have a little of mommy's running competition in his blood. Daddy, Andrew and Caleb were right behind... Daddy caught up to Micah and helped him finish the race in 9 minutes! Great race Micah!!! Andrew was right behind running strong...finishing in 10 minutes! Way to go Andrew!!! Mommy, Jake and Caleb came in soon after the big boys. Caleb ran most of the way

Where does the time go??? Hard to believe I will be faced with the reality that my last little baby boy is going to be 1 years old in just a few weeks. We finally decided to go ahead and give him a hair cut! Suckers always work to help with sitting still! Jake did great!  Jacob has grown up so quickly these last few months: crawling, pushing his walking toys around the house, eating chunks of fruit, peas, cheerios and loves macoroni! If Jake is not contained in his high chair, bath tub, crib, stroller or hiking backpack, he is a monster!!! He loves climbing in my dish washer, putting his fingers in the toilet, pulling out the toilet paper into the hallway, playing with his brothers mini Legos, or eating Maggie's dog food and splashing in her water bowl! These sure are busy days with our little man! Jake loves the park and playing outside! He is on the move!                                   Micah on his first day of Kindergarten!!! Andrew on his first day of First Grade!!!  All the Busers at the Bus Stop!!! They were all excited for their new school year adventure!  So proud of you Micah! What a big boy to get on the bus and head to school all by yourself! Way to go buddy! Daddy was home to greet Micah after his first day of Kindergarten! Micah had a great day and loved his first day of school!  Hard to believe we have 2 boys going to school already!
