Thanksgiving Weekend

We had a great Thanksgiving weekend with our family! The weather was unbelievable so we were able to play football, play outside and walk down to the lake and park. It was so nice to have the whole day to be together.
A yearly tradition for our family is to do a craft in the afternoon while football is on.... and eat pie! Aunt Kara makes the best pumpkin pie!!!
The next day we took grandma and grandpa with us to find our Christmas tree and when we got there we ran right into Mr. and Mrs. Clause!! The boys seemed a little surprise to see them walking around, so we decided we needed a picture!
Grandpa and the boys on our hayride out to get our tree!
We found it!! Had to get a family shot of all of us together!
It was really cold getting our tree so we hurried inside to color and have hot cocoa! We love taking grandma in this store because there is lots of fun Christmas stuff to look at!
 Grandma and her boys:)
On Saturday we took off to the Children's Museum in Eau Claire to play! Grandpa and the boys had fun pretending they were plumbers!
On Saturday night we decorated the Christmas tree! I had so much fun decorating with Jacob as he really looked at the lights and ornaments....yes, pulled them off too!!!
My big boys having fun together getting the tree all set and ready! I loved listening to them talk about each of the ornaments and remember where they got them or made them. Someday we will have a fancy tree, but right now I love looking at all their fun ornaments that mean something to them...

A fun filled, warm and then freezing cold weekend of being together. Many memories made being just us!!! Nothing better!!!
