Wrappin' Up the Year!

It's that time of year again when great school activities come to an end. Both Andrew and Micah took 
piano lessons this year. This was Andrew's second year and he has really improved and is so fun to listen to. Micah has really grasped the understanding of reading music and learning the basics. We have really enjoyed listening to the boys practice at home this year. Both boys have decided to take lessons again next year and we are thrilled!

Grandpa and Grandma made a special surprise appearance at the piano recital! We were all so excited they took the time to come see us and be apart of the boys' special performance night! Drew and Micah were grinning ear to ear!! :)

Our boys LOVE Awana on Wednesday nights. We are so proud of our guys for working so hard on memorizing Gods word and receiving such honorable prizes for all their hard work! Way to go boys!!
Caleb finished his second year of Cubbies and will be moving onto Sparks next year! You rock Caleb!
Andrew finished up Sparks this year and will be entering TNT in the fall. Can't believe he is ready to move on from the Sparks group! Micah will welcome his brother Caleb into Sparks next year and enjoy a year of memorizing scripture and playing games with his little brother. Glad they have a chance to make memories together in the fall! Love those awards boys!

Andrew worked very hard this year and completed 2 books! So proud of you Drew! May you keep His word close to your heart and mind as you continue to grow in your relationship with Jesus.

And Jake... he loved Puggles at church this year but I did not get a pic so I posted this great shot of him at his first dentist appt. It appears like he was casual and relaxed for his first teeth cleaning...but don't let this photo fool you. Once the dentist begin to even look in his mouth our Jakey was in complete tears and wouldn't even let the dentist clean his teeth. He loves the shades though and we think he looks pretty cool in the dentist chair! Funny Jake!

Lots to fit into these late spring days as we wrap up the year! One proud mom.

Grandmas Marathon- getting faster!!

3:00:38 Grandmas Marathon PR!! I’m still smiling…things are coming along nicely in my marathon expertise! Haha, Im just being silly but I really am learning more as I go-what works best for me, what doesn’t.  June 17th was a blast!! Cramps hit strong in my left calf around mile 18 and then my pace got more limited as I went, I was so scared I would pull something that I tried to find the balance of push and hold up! Super proud of this race and the battle I fought. The marathon is a beast and continues to challenge me! Games ON still for the CIM Marathon on December 3rd. 😁First up though, trails and less miles for me for awhile. My friend Leah is a true gem, someone I really enjoy sharing running miles and life with. Kyle, Micah and I enjoyed time with Leah’s family in Duluth. Getting better and getting ready to go home!

Hey There! We thank all of you so much for all of your prayer support through this entire process. Go sure had His hand in this from the beginning. Anna and Micah are both doing just great. Yesterday was a hard day for Anna, She was very tired and had a hard time as the Doctors began to take her off of some of the pain meds she was not feeling good. She began to get a high temp,but that was all taken care of by early in the night and she slept great. She will be again trying to get of the IV pain meds and move to pills, if this goes well today we will be on our way home to see Drew tomorrow. Anna and I are both really loving the calm personality that God gave to little Micah as we know the high energy that Drew has waiting for us at home. We can't wait to see his little smile again and hear all of his animal noises and cars sounds. It will be so great to see the way that God grows these two boys only 17 months apart. It will be crazy and great all at the same time. Pray

Friday came quick!😅

 These full days have gone by super fast this week. Teaching full days to students who need my full attention, getting over a cold this week, spending time with all the boys each night, and keeping up with Kyle’s busy church schedule has had us all feeling like it has been a quick week! Micah and Caleb had a tennis meeting this week to get ready for their spring season, Kyle and I are really excited to cheer them on soon! Maybe sooner with how warm our weather has been this winter. It’s been fun to hear that Micah has been at the courts a lot already with his buddies, praying he has a solid season ahead for his Junior year.  Micah will be 17yrs old next Tuesday! It’s so crazy to think I have an 18yr old, almost 17yr old, 15yr old, and 12yr old….I wish I could keep them little.❤️ Each season of life looks so different.
