December highlights!
As we get closer and closer to Christmas day, we have had so much fun celebrating many things this month. Here are some December highlights we haven't blogged about yet!
Our church held a fun family event to learn more about the story of Jesus birth and spend time together! Our children's ministry is so fantastic and these teachers just know exactly how to reach children for Christ. Such a fun day learning about Jesus!
We all made our own mangers! The kids had a fun time with this and it was a great memory maker for all of us. Thankful for a wonderful church family.
Micah's D.A.R.E. graduation day! I can not believe he is in 5th grade already?!?!Proud of you man.... now no drugs for you!!!
Caleb, Jacob, and I decided to go see the movie "Star" it was a great date night for the 3 of us while the other boys were at basketball practice. We loved the movie.... and the popcorn! As you can see we started out at Taco John's for supper so we were pretty full by the end of the night! But it was a really special night with these 2 sweet boys. The movie is a must see!
Our boys decided to join the Alliance church nativity float this Christmas in the winter parade. They had a wonderful time with friends. Jacob was on the float as a sheep. Micah was a camel and handed out candy, Caleb was a shepherd and handed out candy as well. They said they enjoyed it, but next year would like to just go watch the parade and get the candy! Love that they had the experience but don't blame them for wanting to go watch and get candy instead. Our town does an incredible job at the winter parade and a true highlight for our family to go to each Christmas season.
3rd and 5th grade school concert last Friday was a hit and done so well. I found myself a little teary being Micah's last year in an elementary school concert. He is just growing up too fast for me!
This is their 5th grade bow... the school concerts are always cute and silly. Glad Nana and Gg could join us!
Cookie baking together is a highlight for us! It was such a wonderful Saturday home day and we had fun blasting the Christmas tunes and baking together! Pretzels and frosting in this pic! Fun to sing, chat and bake!! Jesus, we are getting ready to celebrate you!!
On Sunday all the kids sang for us!! Caleb and Jacob rocked it out and they sounded AWESOME!!
Jacob you are getting so big! You did great singing about Jesus!
Holiday craft time with the kindergarteners was so much fun. We had 9 stations set with 9 different crafts and they had a lot of fun. I took a few pics of Jake when he was at my snowman station! They all turned out super cute.
Here is Jman's snowman. He doesn't look super thrilled to be in a pic but that's ok. I've gotta capture these moments! It was the last Kindergarten holiday craft day for me....so sad!
December, you were filled to the top with so much fun with these boys. Kyle and I are crazy proud of EACH of them and feel so completely grateful to claim them as ours!!
4 handsome young men with great BIG hearts!
Christmas will be here soon!!
