1. Baking Pies with Grandma-  We had a nice time baking pies with grandma. I’m so excited to bring pies to parties, bible studies and potlucks this year! The boys had a fun time and so did I! It was fun to be in the kitchen together. 2. Science Museum- Game Changers!  Once Kyle finished up his classes at Bethel we took the boys to the science museum to check out Game Changers  together! We also went to the omnitheater to see Cuba with my mom. For lunch we walked over to Cassetta’s for pizza and enjoyed the day together. 3. Visiting Grandpa Vern It was really nice to visit my grandpa Vern. It was sad to visit him for the first time without seeing grandma. I miss her so much and I can tell it’s been hard on my dad since she has passed away this spring. Grandpa seemed pretty good but aging faster each time I see him. Glad we took time to visit him. My aunt Sharon and uncle Duane were their too so that was really nice. 4. Playing lots of Cribbage! The guys had f...

Basketball Weekend 3on3!

Image
Spring is in the air and for the 1st weekend this year, we all felt it. Although raining, I sat in the garage and cheered as the boys shot hoops! I think they enjoyed my cheering because they kept smiling and looking to see if I saw their amazing shot! Love these moments. Saturday morning 3 of our guys formed basketball 3on3 teams and enjoyed a full day of competition... Micah’s team The Ringers- Drew’s team The Ballers- Caleb’s team The Bucks- Caleb’s team took 1st place! Micah’s team took 2nd place! Drew’s team took 1st place! These boys love basketball and we had fun watching them play with their friends!🏀

It was Kyle’s birthday last Monday and we had fun making him feel special!! I seriously think he is the greatest dad and husband to our family....a great role model, leader, mentor, guide, encouraging and affirming his love each day to us all. We are so blessed!❤️ I enjoyed having lunch with him at Waterfront, going for a family walk, and having a family night at home celebrating him!! We love you so much and hope 38 is great!!!

Our family is very ready for basketball shorts, running tank tops, and new spring shoes to bring an extra bounce to our step!! In just a few days it will be officially spring.... and I'm already trying to decide when I can bust out my sandals!! Cheers! Spring is right around the corner!!!!

March is a fun birthday month for us!! It always helps break up the winter by giving us fun celebrations to have! Micah Robert is 12 years old!! He had a great day bringing donuts to his Cares class, having his friends sing to him at lunch, and everyone wishing him a "happy birthday!" throughout his school day!  The brothers had fun blowing up balloons at home making Micah feel extra special and loved, plus trick candles that he kept blowing out and they would keep coming back shining bright!! We had lots of fun and laughter together as a family celebrating.  We love you Micah, it was really fun making you feel so loved on your special day! You bring us so much JOY and LAUGHTER to our family!!! This is EXACTLY who you are and why we love who God made YOU!!! Full of fun and adventure. Micah Robert 12years old

February

On the last day of February I went for a sunrise run and took this picture. The Lord brought to my heart how much He loves me, cares for me, and wants the best for me. Running was tough in all the cold, snowy days. This sunrise brings hope for warmer days ahead!  Goodbye snowy, windy, cold February !!!❄️

On the fun side, take a peak at Duke on his snow mountain❄️❄️ Big leap to see MOM!!😁 Making the best of our snowy days Drew and Micah went skiing with Brody for a fun day of sunshine and play!! Great memories. Proud ski guys at Afton!!❄️ Having lots of fun in the snow and enjoying the craziness of it all!!  Winter 2019 will be remembered!!❄️❄️

The 100th day of school!

Last week I had the greatest opportunity to teach in Jacob's 1st grade classroom! We had a blast as it was the 100th Day of School ! Check out some of the activities that we did together! 100 blocks- they could show me any way to make 100 out of cubes Cup Towers-  show me many ways to build a tower with 100 cups! Looking great!!! Counting to 100-  count by 10s to 100 by using "10 different" types of snacks! They loved this one. Then at the end we took a class picture with their 100 Crowns !! I was extremely blessed to teach in Jacob's class. We had a picnic lunch together and enjoyed time together all day. He has the best class!
