Gunderson Adventures.... where all 6 of Us live life to the fullest!

  Day1 our room looks right out to Lake Superior and is a beautiful view! I love how spacious this place is and it feels so good to rest and refresh. I had so much fun going out into the woods our first morning here, so beautiful! Carlton Peak huge highlight for us! We both said hiking in the winter is much harder! We decided we wished we would have hiked without our snow pants and extra jacket. All in all, huge highlight and absolutely gorgeous!! View  of Lake Superior❤️ Day2 our view from our place. The waves were so strong and powerful this morning. Kyle and I have really enjoyed the pool and hot tub! So icy I mean I am beyond thankful for my yaktrax spikes to get me through these icy conditions! I would not be running outside otherwise.  20,000 shots for Bubba!! Incredible. Jake and Caleb spent last summer shooting hoops a ton. Last Friday Caleb got to join other 8th grade buddies who also shot 20,000 shots and they got to spend time with the varsity boys running out on the court and sitting with them on the bench. It was really cool! #23 Caleb Gunderson! Fun to hear his name announced in the gym. Jake and his team showed off some of their drills during halftime. They did a good job! Micah was a 3-point King on Friday night! For real, he kept shooting 3s and making them over and over. So much fun to cheer for him,he got a ton of playing time.  Sunshine came out the last two days, which helps during theses winter days that can seem long. Hoping all this ice melts soon though, it is really dangerous out there! ☀️A new week begins!  

  2nd basketball tournament for Jake! It was a fun day cheering on our little Jman as a family and grandpa and grandma joined us too! We love #3!! Hiking  with dad and mom and Caleb was a highlight too. The sunshine was so bright and pretty reflecting off the snow. It was a really nice day together💕 Sunday  morning run was a bit slick, but look at these trees! Winter is really pretty here in Wisconsin.

  Happy New Year!! We soaked it up by going skiing as a family! Such an awesome 1st time skiing day as a whole family! My favorite people to start off the New Year with!❤️ We were pretty much professional skiers by the end of the day!😜 2023 we are praying God continues to watch over us, protect us, and open our eyes to His continued faithfulness. He is where our Joy is found! 😁

  Games  we played so many games over Christmas! Kyle and my favorite board game right now is Scrabble. Our boys are at great ages for lots of games together, we love it! Nana and Drew wearing their sweet winter hats! Matching! Laser tag, mini golf, batting cages- we hit up some inside fun down at canal park in Duluth! It was such a blast! Laser tag is so fun much. These boys are so competitive! Bentlyville family highlight!! So many of us had never been here! MORE GAMES! Snow time! With our cousins after the temps warmed up! Love these smiles. Super fun to check out Hayward too, and their candy store. Yummy! Whitecap Mountain  the older boys had an adventure day together skiing! Fun memories for them.
