Gunderson Adventures.... where all 6 of Us live life to the fullest!

Flagstaff was a really cute town! Really fun to check out, so many runners live there! Kyle took us off road with the Jeep for an afternoon, which was really fun! Nice to stay off our feet too after the race. Andy wanted a hike but we struggled to find a great spot that was open after 4p haha glad we found this little hike to stretch our legs out! Coffee shops were one of my favorite stops in the mornings! Lava cave hike  was totally cool and different. We hiked in probably a half mile and then went under ground!  Check these photos out! It was really cool in the cave! Audrey and I talked the whole way. Grand Canyon  so beautiful and we took the neatest hike along the rim! Check out these switch backs! Arizona was toasty the moment we landed! Bringing all of our equipment to the tents Friday morning, we realized it was going to be a hot one! Tammi and I were getting excited!!! We love the heat☀️ Fun pic with Andy, Tammi and I ❤️❤️❤️ Race pics! Fun first 50miles running with Steph and Andy! Lots of great conversations and laughing! Nice to stay together through the heat of the day… Tent life  I had the best crew, Kyle was ready for me each round and was really good at getting me ice, water, etc.  We were a great team!!! We couldn’t mess around in this heat!!!💦So much water and ice!!! Second 50 I had pacers Bree and Mercy jump in! I was so thankful for their help!!!! Bree hopped in loop4! Mercy loop5! regrouping for the second half- new clothes that were dry helped a ton! 100miles Complete in 18hrs 38min 42 sec🌟 12th place female.  Bree&Mercy college running friends reunite!
