Gunderson Adventures.... where all 6 of Us live life to the fullest!

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit us this weekend and we had a wonderful time together! Unfortunately we had to work a little harder than normal due to water leaking into our basement this past week with all the melting snow and rain we got. Luckily though with dads help in the basement and moms help with the boys we managed to get our basement looking great again! This was a BIG stress reliever for both Kyle and I. As Micah, Andrew and I were at the DQ this afternoon eating ice cream I asked the boys what there favorite part of the weekend was with Grandma and Grandpa and they came up with the cutest things. Andrew said he liked going ice fishing with grandpa and digging a hole in the lake. He then laughed out loud and said, "I liked throwing snow in grandpas hole!" Micah loved making soup with grandma and putting all the carrots in the chicken soup for supper. Grandma and Micah had some great alone time that Micah truly cherished. It has almost been a week since we have come home from our wonderful Mickey Mouse adventure! We went on a Disney Cruise with Kyle's family and had a great time cruising around the Carribean with Mickey Mouse and his friends! Some memories of our boys that Kyle and I will never forget was watching both the boys experience the ocean for the first time! Micah loved playing with the waves and throwing his sand toys out in the water and watching them wash right back to his tummy! Andrew began swimming in the ocean like it was a lake and soon found out it was different by his funny facial expressions of the oceans saltiness! The boys also had a blast swimming and going down the water slide on the ship as well as the many high fives given out to all the Disney characters! The boys received a bunk bed this week form some great friends from church! Andrew loves sleeping on the top and Micah loves the bottom. The boys love reading stories together before bed on the top bunk! Here are some pictures of us enjoying our new beds!

Two weeks ago after Andrew and Micah and I went to a hockey game Andrew began to ask when he could go skating. We made a few phone calls and found out a friend of Andrew's had some skates we could borrow! Andrew was very tentitive his first time on the ice and hardly moved while pushing the chair. By trip number 4 to the rink he was flying around the rink making people wonder if he was really only three years old. Today was only our fifth time to the rink and we made Drew try skating without the pushing pole. He again made it look easy. We now are looking for skates for Micah as he is tired of just skating in his boots. Take a look at the pictures and the video of Drew skating.

Today Anna and I headed out early in the morning for our Doctor appointment in Virginia, MN. We had a 9:15 ultrasound appointment. We spent about an hour with the technition to find out we have a super healthy and well growing Baby Boy coming our way! Anna Slapped me and said "well at least we got Maggie". We will be a house filled with boys and sports, and loving it. We are so glad to find out that the baby was healthy, growing well, and all areas of development that can be checked were right on target with what they would want to see. The due date remained the same at June 25th, and the surgery date will most likly be the middle of June. Thanks for your prayers over this appointment. Please continue to pray for Anna's sanity as she lives with all us BOYS!

Today the boys picked up a new Ice House and have spent a lot of time playing and trying to nap in it. They have played with Dad in the ice house, with Mom, and had Maggie in it.  They had the most fun playing Legos and Mom and Dad could not see the huge mess they had.p

We are having a blast with our little girl Maggie! She has been such a fun addition to our family. We are quite impressed by her already. She is beginning to run to the door when she needs to go potty! She loves going in the car with us to do errons around town and she is sleeping through the night! The boys love her but are still learning how to play gently with her. She gets bugged by them when they act wild and crazy! She tries to hides in her kennel to get away from the craziness! Eventually Maggie will adjust and the boys will get better with her! For now, we are still learning!
