Happy Easter!!! We had a fun Easter weekend with our Nana and GG!!! We had a great time being together and celebrating GG's birthday this weekend. Happy Birthday GG!! Nana and mommy filled Easter eggs and GG and daddy hid them around the front yard for the boys! This was there 3rd Easter egg hunt this weekend and they would have loved more! The weather cooperated with us and no one got wet. Just lots of eggs and very excited boys! Caleb loved finding eggs and putting them in his basket! The boys have finished the hunt and look pretty proud of themselves! This morning the boys woke up at 6:45AM ready to check out their basket from the Easter bunny. We have been talking about this bunny for a month now so Kyle and I were really ready for the bunny to make his appearance!!! The boys were thrilled!!! Here are our 3 handsome boys! Lovin' Spring!!!

Image
The boys are loving this Spring weather! We have enjoyed going on family walks, bike rides and throwing rocks into the river together. The boys got new spring PJS from grandma and grandpa and love putting on the "lighter" layers. Micah asks everyday when the Easter bunny is coming! Andrew is already talking about the beach and wearing his water goggles! I love this picture of Micah as he loves playing outside for hours in the afternoon. He is very busy making his flower garden for mommy! Lovin' Spring!!!!

Highlights of our week!

Image
Andrew decided to jump into preschool about 3 weeks after we moved here to Wisconsin and Kyle and I thought we'd let him give it a shot and make some new friends. Andrew has loved every minute of preschool! He goes Monday-Thursday from 12:10-3:10 in the afternoons. Last week one of our highlights was going with Andrew and his friends on a field trip to a baby animal farm! We had a blast meeting a few of his new buddies Isaac, Logan and Parker! His new teacher Miss Annie says that Andrew is a good listener and a good role model to the other kids in his class. Kyle and I are really proud of him. Here are a few pictures of our field trip! Andrew feeding a momma sheep! Micah and Caleb petting a baby pig! The baby chicks were so cute! We all timidly picked them up and held them in our hands! Another highlight to our week was going to our cousins/nephews 1 year old party! Logan was such a cutie and loved every minute of being loved by his c...

Menomonie Wisconsin!!!

Image
I have finally figured out how to put pictures on our computer and can update you all on how we are doing in Menomonie! The boys and I are truly enjoying the town and the many opportunities we have to meet other people in the community. So far we have really enjoyed storytime at the library, swimming, the sports center in Eau Claire (only 25 minutes away), bowling, Mcdonald's for lunch with new friends, and biking outside on the long driveway! The boys have been very content in the cabin that we are staying at temporarily and we have lots of fun with the many toys we brought with us! A new favorite is jumping on mom and dads bed to Toby Mac! Caleb loves going to the Sports Center when they play parachute games! He loves the action! Andrew loves playing soccer with new buddies he meets at the Sports Center. Micah is adjusting to Menomonie well but once in awhile asks about his preschool friends in I Falls. He really enjoys playing with Andrew and going outside for walks and bike rid...

Final Winter Days in International Falls

Image
Great weekend playing in the snow with temps in the 30's! My parents came up to do some final good byes, fishing and playing with us in International Falls. This is a fun picture of us by our favorite Rainy Lake. Kyle and Grandpa started a snowball fight while grandma and the boys were on top of a big snow mountain! Micah loves playing in the backyard with his trucks. Now that the weather has warmed up for a few days, Caleb is starting to enjoy playing in the snow! Won't miss the super cold temps that International Falls is known for, but the beauty of the snow falling this winter has been incredible. truly stunning.

Visit to Menomonie!

We had a great weekend in Menomonie Wisconsin visiting our new ministry location and meeting many great people at Cedarbrook church. The weekend went fast but we were blessed by the community and the church. A couple from the church blessed us by letting us stay at their cabin for the weekend. I thought I would take a few pictures as it may end up being the place we stay until we sell our home in International Falls. God continues to show us His plan little by little. This place is super cute, comfortable and warm! Above is the kitchen area. The family room looks out to Tainter lake and has lots of room. Andrew loved hanging out with us praying and talking about life in Menomonie. So far he is doing great and really looking forward to meeting new friends. Kindergarten is coming quick! A perk to our whole family was this amazing bath tub! We loved all the bubbles! God has a plan that we can not completely see yet. We do know that His plans are better than ours and when He leads us we...

Christmas 2010

Image
We had a great Christmas celebrating at home and waiting for Santa Clause to come to our house! The boys were full of imagination and excitement this Christmas. They were so glad Santa didn't leave coal but left lots of presents for them to enjoy. We also made Jesus a birthday cake and brought cake to share with our friends at church. What a fun celebration as we sang songs and told the Christmas story throughout the season. Our boys in their Christmas sweaters! Andrew-5 Micah-3 and Caleb-1 The boys are excited to play mommy and daddy in a little tennis this summer! They loved their headbands too! We had a fun time playing with our cousins at Christmas. Nana and the kids all acted out the Christmas story for us! Always a highlight to our Christmas traditions at the Gunderson's. We had a nice Christmas with grandpa and grandma too. Lots of action with kids under 5, but we had a blast watching the kids open presents. Some that didn't even belong to them! They just loved open...
