Awana

We are so proud of our boys for memorizing Gods word this year in Awana!!! We are so glad that Menomonie offers this program as it gets them learning the importance of having Gods word in your heart and mind.
Andrew memorized the whole new testament and can retell many of his bible verses memorized throughout the year!!! Way to go Drew!!

Micah finished up his last year in Cubbies and will begin as a Sparky in the fall with Andrew. We are proud of Micah for just beginning to get into Gods word by memorizing pieces of or short bible verses this year!!! He was excited to fill up his whole blue Cubbie vest with patches! Way to go Micah!!!

Caleb was able to join a group of young kids in a new program called Puggles where he sang about Jesus and talked a lot about Gods creation... He is already talking about what a big boy he will be when he can start Cubbies in the fall!

As I dropped the boys off each week I would pray Proverbs 22:6 for each of them...
"Lord, may we train up these boys in the way they should go so that when they are old they will not turn from it."
Kyle and my prayer everyday is that we will give our 4 boys the essential tools that they need now while they are young so that when they are on their own,  they will be wise and have their relationship with God to turn to.

Andrew is 2!

Wow how time flies! we are amazed that our little guy is already two. It seems like just yesterday that he was born and we were spending all of out time looking at him in his crib and playing with him on the floor. Now he is a real boy. Running around, kicking the football, cheering for touchdowns, and tackling his brother. Andrew brings us such joy as he is always laughing and smiling and thinking of new and creative ways to use all of his toys. We are all enjoying our fall, with trips to the cities and a Pastors retreat, jumping in to the leaves, and cool night walks we love this time of year. trails+goals🍃

Lately  I have been asked by many- “Now that you’ve accomplished one of your biggest goals, what’s next??” and to be honest I have been really soaking up my 2:58:01 marathon accomplishment and feeling extremely grateful my body felt so strong and healthy for that race. I will never take for granted a healthy body… many of you know my journey has included some pretty tough injuries along the way. So first, I really haven’t hurried to find a “next goal” but have sat in awe and thankfulness. All that to say I am a goal kinda girl and love a good challenge. So on Jan 1, 2024 I signed up to race the Javelina Jundred with some of my greatest running buddies! It will be my 2nd 100miler and this time will be held in Arizona (not Iowa) where it will be very hot. My goal tho will be to have a blast with running friends and finish the race- different then a road race goal….  I really love a good challenge!!  easy trail runs have started….and at the perfect time when the wild flowers...

Thanksgiving week!🧡

Turkey Trot went great! Fastest Turkey T yet!!🧡 Thankful to have my coach pace me and help me feel out a tougher pace then normal- it was really chilly but went well lots of fun  Table is set and lunch was super 😋 Games  lots of cards, scrabble, sorry and blokus this weekend!!! Reading the Thankful cards with Clara!  My big guys so much quality time together!! Tree day was freeeezing but happy to get a family pic! Mom and Dad make our Thanksgiving week so much fun  Drew making homemade bread bc I was tired of being in the kitchen🤣I definitely don’t love cooking Tree decorating in my new pjs!! I danced around the whole house in these cuties! Thank you to my parents for getting me bday pjs!!🎉I will rock out my dance moves in them every single night now! Our tree looks supa! 🧡Thanksgiving week was so needed. Awesome seeing Drew and nice to catch up on Rest. Relaxing. Running. Reading. Ridiculous Noises. Rad family hangout time!
