Memorial Day Weekend!

Image
We finally got a feel for some awesome summer weather over Memorial weekend! The boys were pumped to get into the boat and enjoy the warm sun and water fun as a family!! This was our first time out to test the boat and make sure all was running smoothly! It worked great!! Brought the boat back home to wash and clean it and get it loaded with snacks, drinks and towels!!  Drew's favorite activity as a family is to have us all on the boat being together. He loves being on the water all the time, any time of day! Caleb is easing in slowly to boat life. He loves going tubing and getting on the lily pad (our newest addition) and beginning to enjoy the sport of skiing. Caleb's favorite thing to do is visit with everyone and be right where his brothers are. Jake comes along for the ride.... and the snacks!! The minute he steps foot in the boat he is ready to start snacking!! Loves anything Bethany or I bring out, and especially loves those juice boxes!! He got on the l

WE LOVE FARGO!!! Another awesome year in Fargo with family. It is such a great time of year to connect again with Aunt Sara, Uncle Phil, Callie, Joey, Sam, Nana and GG. I love that we make this a priority to get together as a whole group. It is always busy as we run from race to race and catch some swimming and food in between, but the memories for the boys are worth it all.  Caleb ran in the 1 mile youth run! I love this picture. He is so proud.  Andrew did the 1 mile youth run in his age group and held a great pace! Micah ran the 5k and we got to see uncle Jesse before the start!! So nice to give him hugs!! Micah finished in 27:19 first place for the youngest finisher Incredible Micah! Endurance just flows through you with ease.  Kyle raced the half marathon in 1:53:46 Anna raced the half marathon in 1:27:53 We had an incredible weekend as a family and crushed some serious race times!!! Getting after it for HIS glory as a family!!! Hebrews 12:1

Kyle and I decided to surprise the boys on a Wednesday afternoon and take them to the Twins game!! We skipped school and work and headed out for a fun family day!!! Caleb (4) and Jake(2) excited to cheer for the Twins!! Andrew and Micah were shocked when we showed up at school and told them we are leaving for the Twins game! They were really pumped about their surprise!! When they heard it was dollar dog day they shouted, "Awesome!" It was a beautiful day for a school skippin' day!! Go Twins!! My guys love every chance they get with their daddy and especially love feeling extra special!! It was such a JOY to be together today!!!

Easter!

It's always fun to celebrate Easter as a family and do some of those simple traditions that make each holiday so special. Passing these little traditions down to my children is such a joy and fun for Kyle and I to experience with the boys. Dying Easter eggs, making jello eggs, going on an Easter egg hunt are just a few that come to mind... Jake is now 2 1/2 years old and loved making fun colors with his eggs.  Micah is learning that the longer you dye the egg, the prettier they become and more bold in color. I loved watching him and Andrew see how long they should let their eggs "soak" for the best colored egg. Of course we always have a few camouflage eggs that get put in the final batch.  We love looking at all the colors when we are done and choosing our favorites! Lots of fun doing those little things together.... Daddy picked up these yummy donuts for breakfast!! Lots of excitement on Easter morning as they peaked inside their baskets! I love
