Easter!

It's always fun to celebrate Easter as a family and do some of those simple traditions that make each holiday so special. Passing these little traditions down to my children is such a joy and fun for Kyle and I to experience with the boys. Dying Easter eggs, making jello eggs, going on an Easter egg hunt are just a few that come to mind...
Jake is now 2 1/2 years old and loved making fun colors with his eggs.
Micah is learning that the longer you dye the egg, the prettier they become and more bold in color. I loved watching him and Andrew see how long they should let their eggs "soak" for the best colored egg. Of course we always have a few camouflage eggs that get put in the final batch.

We love looking at all the colors when we are done and choosing our favorites!

Lots of fun doing those little things together....
Daddy picked up these yummy donuts for breakfast!!
Lots of excitement on Easter morning as they peaked inside their baskets! I love Jake's smile!
Chocolate Easter bunnies were a favorite!
Before church we took a picture in our Easter shirts! I can't believe how big the boys are getting.
Nana and GG came to celebrate with us on Easter!! What a great picture of the boys with them!
                                                                   Our little monkeys!!
Nana and GG brought lots of eggs to hide for our family Easter egg hunt! We had a blast!! It was so special for the boys to find their colored egg and a special golden egg!! So thankful that nana and gg could join us and spend time with us on Easter.
Great find Caleb! Find more orange eggs!!
Jake found his golden egg with quarters inside!! He was so excited!!!

Such a great Easter together with Nana and GG. He Is Risen!!!
