Gunderson Adventures.... where all 6 of Us live life to the fullest!

 We had an incredible week in Punta Cana celebrating our 15th anniversary!! The weather was stunning and we found ourselves instantly drawn to the ocean and time together. It always seems like special days like these come and go so quickly...  We walked the beach several times a day. By 10a it was so hot that we would swim in the ocean and walk the shoreline all morning! We got smart day 2 and loaded up on sunscreen really well before heading to breakfast. The sun was incredibly hot to us!  Happiness and thankfulness for Gods goodness to Us! 15 years has gone by so fast!  It was beautiful at night on our walk back to our room.  Lots of walking here but the resort was incredible!  Pools felt refreshing to swim in each day, especially during crazy game time in the afternoons!  We could have watched the waves all day long...  Our favorite place to eat was this Japanese Restaurant! They cooked our food right in front of us and it was a lot of fun visiting with oth

It has been such a fun basketball season for our Micah man. He was really excited to play with daddy being his coach this year! It has been such a great experience for both Kyle and Micah to share some special memories together on the court at practice and at all the tournaments. Micah is our fighter. He is not intimidated by anyone and is ready to put in full force if he has to. So many times Kyle would tell me, he's really good Anna. At times Micah needs to be reigned in for getting a few too many fouls but with practice he has become more disciplined with his body and gaining better control. This smile tells you just how much he loves the game! These are some pics from the first noncompetitive tournaments Micah and the team played in. Great shot Micah! And here he goes...take it man! Micah has responded so well to his dads coaching and looks to him to help make him better and to receive constant encouragement. Kyle was absolutely incredible for these boys! M

Drew has put his whole heart into basketball this season, waking up well before he needs to in order to get ready for tournament day. He showers, eats breakfast, gets his gatorade bottle filled and loads his bag to prepare for the big day ahead. You can tell it's Game Day all over his face! Here are some highlight pics from the tournaments he's played in~  Drew loves his coach Lynn, and really looks to him to lead and guide him during games and practices. We are thankful he has such a great coach! This tournament was held in Prescott.  2nd Place for our first tournament!  Fall Creek proved to be a bit harder tournament taking 4th Place that day. At our home tournament the boys took 2nd Place!! They are doing so great this year and it has been really fun to watch them become better together.  Drew was recognized at the boys high school varsity game for having shot 12,150 shots last summer! He felt so special and we were really proud of him!  Dre
