Recap on 5th Grade Bball!

Drew has put his whole heart into basketball this season, waking up well before he needs to in order to get ready for tournament day. He showers, eats breakfast, gets his gatorade bottle filled and loads his bag to prepare for the big day ahead. You can tell it's Game Day all over his face! Here are some highlight pics from the tournaments he's played in~
 Drew loves his coach Lynn, and really looks to him to lead and guide him during games and practices. We are thankful he has such a great coach! This tournament was held in Prescott.

 Fall Creek proved to be a bit harder tournament taking 4th Place that day.



At our home tournament the boys took 2nd Place!! They are doing so great this year and it has been really fun to watch them become better together.
 Drew was recognized at the boys high school varsity game for having shot 12,150 shots last summer! He felt so special and we were really proud of him!
 Drew and his friend Wyatt got to sit on the bench together, be apart of the team talks, go back into the locker room and received awesome shirts with their shot number on the back!

Drew is a hard worker and talented player at such a young age. His determination to become better will get him far in sports. He encourages his team mates and looks to the coaches to teach him. He is respectful and kind and has a great attitude even when the refs make bad calls. Kyle and I smile at his drive because we are so proud of who he is and how God is shaping him and his character in these growing years. We love you Drew and have loved watching and cheering for you this basketball season. Keep reaching for your goals and dreams to become great and you will get there!

Grandmas Marathon- getting faster!!

3:00:38 Grandmas Marathon PR!! I’m still smiling…things are coming along nicely in my marathon expertise! Haha, Im just being silly but I really am learning more as I go-what works best for me, what doesn’t.  June 17th was a blast!! Cramps hit strong in my left calf around mile 18 and then my pace got more limited as I went, I was so scared I would pull something that I tried to find the balance of push and hold up! Super proud of this race and the battle I fought. The marathon is a beast and continues to challenge me! Games ON still for the CIM Marathon on December 3rd. 😁First up though, trails and less miles for me for awhile. My friend Leah is a true gem, someone I really enjoy sharing running miles and life with. Kyle, Micah and I enjoyed time with Leah’s family in Duluth. Her sister Sara and brother-in-law Mike made us feel so welcome and special!  I’ve been getting faster and continue to PR each year since my late 30s, in fact the last time I raced Grandmas Marathon I ran a 3:16

Getting better and getting ready to go home!

Hey There! We thank all of you so much for all of your prayer support through this entire process. Go sure had His hand in this from the beginning. Anna and Micah are both doing just great. Yesterday was a hard day for Anna, She was very tired and had a hard time as the Doctors began to take her off of some of the pain meds she was not feeling good. She began to get a high temp,but that was all taken care of by early in the night and she slept great. She will be again trying to get of the IV pain meds and move to pills, if this goes well today we will be on our way home to see Drew tomorrow. Anna and I are both really loving the calm personality that God gave to little Micah as we know the high energy that Drew has waiting for us at home. We can't wait to see his little smile again and hear all of his animal noises and cars sounds. It will be so great to see the way that God grows these two boys only 17 months apart. It will be crazy and great all at the same time. Pray

Friday came quick!😅

 These full days have gone by super fast this week. Teaching full days to students who need my full attention, getting over a cold this week, spending time with all the boys each night, and keeping up with Kyle’s busy church schedule has had us all feeling like it has been a quick week! Micah and Caleb had a tennis meeting this week to get ready for their spring season, Kyle and I are really excited to cheer them on soon! Maybe sooner with how warm our weather has been this winter. It’s been fun to hear that Micah has been at the courts a lot already with his buddies, praying he has a solid season ahead for his Junior year.  Micah will be 17yrs old next Tuesday! It’s so crazy to think I have an 18yr old, almost 17yr old, 15yr old, and 12yr old….I wish I could keep them little.❤️ Each season of life looks so different.
