Recap on 4th Grade Bball!

It has been such a fun basketball season for our Micah man. He was really excited to play with daddy being his coach this year! It has been such a great experience for both Kyle and Micah to share some special memories together on the court at practice and at all the tournaments. Micah is our fighter. He is not intimidated by anyone and is ready to put in full force if he has to. So many times Kyle would tell me, he's really good Anna. At times Micah needs to be reigned in for getting a few too many fouls but with practice he has become more disciplined with his body and gaining better control.
This smile tells you just how much he loves the game!

Micah has responded so well to his dads coaching and looks to him to help make him better and to receive constant encouragement. Kyle was absolutely incredible for these boys!

4th grade boys took 1st place last weekend in Prescott! Love those blue ribbons!
Kyle posted this last October and I just love these smiles. It has been a joy to see these 2 guys talk and laugh and learn the game of basketball together. It has been such a great season for Micah and his buddies. This 4th grade basketball season for Micah won't go forgotten because when dad comes in to coach and be dad that = awesomeness!
 Micah had a blast being recognized for shooting 10,700 shots in the summer shot club! It was so fun to see him and his buddy AJ come running out on the court with the varsity basketball team! Go Mustangs!

Grandmas Marathon- getting faster!!

3:00:38 Grandmas Marathon PR!! I’m still smiling…things are coming along nicely in my marathon expertise! Haha, Im just being silly but I really am learning more as I go-what works best for me, what doesn’t.  June 17th was a blast!! Cramps hit strong in my left calf around mile 18 and then my pace got more limited as I went, I was so scared I would pull something that I tried to find the balance of push and hold up! Super proud of this race and the battle I fought. The marathon is a beast and continues to challenge me! Games ON still for the CIM Marathon on December 3rd. 😁First up though, trails and less miles for me for awhile. My friend Leah is a true gem, someone I really enjoy sharing running miles and life with. Kyle, Micah and I enjoyed time with Leah’s family in Duluth. Getting better and getting ready to go home!

Hey There! We thank all of you so much for all of your prayer support through this entire process. Go sure had His hand in this from the beginning. Anna and Micah are both doing just great. Yesterday was a hard day for Anna, She was very tired and had a hard time as the Doctors began to take her off of some of the pain meds she was not feeling good. She began to get a high temp,but that was all taken care of by early in the night and she slept great. She will be again trying to get of the IV pain meds and move to pills, if this goes well today we will be on our way home to see Drew tomorrow. Anna and I are both really loving the calm personality that God gave to little Micah as we know the high energy that Drew has waiting for us at home. We can't wait to see his little smile again and hear all of his animal noises and cars sounds. It will be so great to see the way that God grows these two boys only 17 months apart. It will be crazy and great all at the same time. Pray

Friday came quick!😅

 These full days have gone by super fast this week. Teaching full days to students who need my full attention, getting over a cold this week, spending time with all the boys each night, and keeping up with Kyle’s busy church schedule has had us all feeling like it has been a quick week! Micah and Caleb had a tennis meeting this week to get ready for their spring season, Kyle and I are really excited to cheer them on soon! Maybe sooner with how warm our weather has been this winter. It’s been fun to hear that Micah has been at the courts a lot already with his buddies, praying he has a solid season ahead for his Junior year.  Micah will be 17yrs old next Tuesday! It’s so crazy to think I have an 18yr old, almost 17yr old, 15yr old, and 12yr old….I wish I could keep them little.❤️ Each season of life looks so different.
