New puppy+

1-Puppy News!! We are excited to share that Duke will be coming home next weekend as a new member of our family! The boys couldn’t be more excited and assure me that they will take care of him😉 check him out, we think he’s pretty cute!!This is a fun picture of all the puppies! They will all be local so it will be fun to watch them all grow up and see how similar and different they look as they get older. More updates to come on Duke! I’m sure I will have lots of silly stories about Bailey and Duke and their daily adventures!2- Grandpa is 92! We had a fun birthday party for my grandpa Curt. He is looking amazing and feeling great at 92! Huge praise!!I love you so much grandpa. 3- Grandparent Day! It was grandparent day in Jake’s class and my dad took a special opportunity to drive here to spend time with Jake. It was so special and Jake loved every minute!! It meant so much to Jake.4- Trail Run. Saturday was one of those perfect days. I slept in, ate a big breakfast with my crew, and headed out for a 10mile run on the trail. The sun was shining bright and it felt so wonderful to run and be refreshed. Thankful for these moments God reminds me how much He loves me.❤️

5- Starbucks! I stopped at Starbucks this week and it was such a treat!! Truly my favorite spot for a hot cup of coffee.☕️So many things each day to stop and take notice of how blessed we are. God you are so good to us! I find myself so thankful for your goodness each and everyday in the little and big things that are happening all around us.Thankful.

Grandmas Marathon- getting faster!!

3:00:38 Grandmas Marathon PR!! I’m still smiling…things are coming along nicely in my marathon expertise! Haha, Im just being silly but I really am learning more as I go-what works best for me, what doesn’t.  June 17th was a blast!! Cramps hit strong in my left calf around mile 18 and then my pace got more limited as I went, I was so scared I would pull something that I tried to find the balance of push and hold up! Super proud of this race and the battle I fought. The marathon is a beast and continues to challenge me! Games ON still for the CIM Marathon on December 3rd. 😁First up though, trails and less miles for me for awhile. My friend Leah is a true gem, someone I really enjoy sharing running miles and life with. Kyle, Micah and I enjoyed time with Leah’s family in Duluth. Her sister Sara and brother-in-law Mike made us feel so welcome and special!  I’ve been getting faster and continue to PR each year since my late 30s, in fact the last time I raced Grandmas Marathon I ran a 3:16

Getting better and getting ready to go home!

Hey There! We thank all of you so much for all of your prayer support through this entire process. Go sure had His hand in this from the beginning. Anna and Micah are both doing just great. Yesterday was a hard day for Anna, She was very tired and had a hard time as the Doctors began to take her off of some of the pain meds she was not feeling good. She began to get a high temp,but that was all taken care of by early in the night and she slept great. She will be again trying to get of the IV pain meds and move to pills, if this goes well today we will be on our way home to see Drew tomorrow. Anna and I are both really loving the calm personality that God gave to little Micah as we know the high energy that Drew has waiting for us at home. We can't wait to see his little smile again and hear all of his animal noises and cars sounds. It will be so great to see the way that God grows these two boys only 17 months apart. It will be crazy and great all at the same time. Pray

Friday came quick!😅

 These full days have gone by super fast this week. Teaching full days to students who need my full attention, getting over a cold this week, spending time with all the boys each night, and keeping up with Kyle’s busy church schedule has had us all feeling like it has been a quick week! Micah and Caleb had a tennis meeting this week to get ready for their spring season, Kyle and I are really excited to cheer them on soon! Maybe sooner with how warm our weather has been this winter. It’s been fun to hear that Micah has been at the courts a lot already with his buddies, praying he has a solid season ahead for his Junior year.  Micah will be 17yrs old next Tuesday! It’s so crazy to think I have an 18yr old, almost 17yr old, 15yr old, and 12yr old….I wish I could keep them little.❤️ Each season of life looks so different.
