Week in Review 1/26

Monday 1/20 No School Day! The sunshine was gorgeous on Monday morning. It felt so good to sleep in until 8am and then head out for an hour run while the boys were still waking up.  Skating at Pinehurst I took the boys ice skating and sledding at a new park on their day off. We got some great vitamin D too with how vibrant the sunshine was all day! Minimal fighting on the ice made for an even better experience for us. These boys are just the sweetest and I have to add getting SO big every single day! My BIG guys.❤️ 4 boys on the ice soaking up sun+fun! Subway is our top favorite these days! Grabbed lunch on our way home! Supper with Friends One of our favorite places to go in Menomonie is to our friends Darren and Sarah's house. We have so much fun hanging out with them, their adult kids when they come home, swimming in the lake with all of them in the summer time, or just playing games together in the winter months. We were so excited to spend time with them this...

Week in Review 1/19

Our week went by pretty quickly with basketball practices, church meetings, bible study time with Caleb, substitute teaching, and more basketball practices!  However, here are a few more highlights! Friday's are my favorite because I get to spend the whole day with Kyle! We had fun going to Starbucks and reading our book together, and then planning more of our 2020 Summer Trip ! Our family will be going on a 6 week trip this summer to some amazing places. Kyle and I are having so much fun mapping it all out! Can't wait to share with you where we are headed but will wait to blog about it all in the future once it is all set! Menomin Park  It was a beautiful Friday afternoon as the snow storm was just starting, so I took Bailey and Duke to Menomin Park to have fun and run around! We were the only ones in the park so it was really fun watching them run free! Look at Duke's tongue hanging out.   Duke always comes back to check on me and make sure I'm still co...

Sunday January 12th Week in Review For 2020 I will be doing my best each week to blog about our week in review  and share some insights on what our family has been up to and the highs and lows that life brings us along the way. I'd love to microscope on the daily things that are going on "now"so we can look back and remember the things that were unique in this season. So here is our first week in review  for 2020! Basketball begins!  Micah EC LCT tournament. 6 games played throughout the weekend and we won a few, lost a few. Good competition  for these 7th graders and our team learned a lot. Really fun cheering!  Drew's Altoona tournament went super well. These 8th grade boys won every game. Kyle helps coach these boys and was really impressed by how well they are playing together this year.  1st place!! There are only 7 players so each of them have to be ready to play and on their toes the entire game. I hope I can see these boys play soon! ...

2020 Mantra

Living Light 2020 Living Light  physically . I want to feel light when I run and play with the boys, not feeling heavy or sluggish throughout my day. A few diet changes this year plus include drinking more water and less caffeinated beverages I think will help! Living Light emotionally. Not taking life too seriously and not becoming anxious or stressed easily but bringing it all to God each day.  Living Light in running. Take each race as an opportunity to worship and praise God with the healthy body that he gave me and being thankful for what each race brings. Being focused on Personal Excellence and seeking Gods best for Me.  Living Light at home. Less worried about getting everything done and more focused on time spent with the people I love the most. Set clear boundaries for technology so my mind can focus and be present. Living light with my boys and Kyle will help our whole family smile a little bit more, stress a little bit less.  Living Light ...

Celebrating 18yrs!

Can't think of a better way to kickoff our  2020 blog year  then with the celebration of 18 years of marriage to my best friend and life partner! Our life has gone through so many sweet and wonderful seasons, it really is fun to look out that rearview mirror and see what God has done in Us.  We are certainly not the same couple we were 18 years ago, simply because we have learned how to love each other in deeper and more selfless ways as the years continue. We know one another better, we can see how our strengths and weaknesses pair, learning our personality differences has helped us in planning our day to day more effectively, and remembering that we both love to refresh and see God in nature as we seek to explore and adventure in the years ahead.  So much more to be excited about! Our love for one another just keeps growing and molding into something beautiful, and God's best for Us.  Our Life Motto as a Couple is- LOVE GOD. LOVE OTHERS. LOVE L...
