Mines of Spain 100miler 🤩

Image
100 miles Complete:  Mines of Spain100mile was an incredible experience. I give God all the glory for this one because He surrounded me with such a wonderful coach who believes in me and came up with this crazy idea to tackle 100miles, something I would have never dreamed of on my own. Thankful for my running friend Leah for joining me on my trail runs once a week, Tammi who also ran this race, and for the new friends I met out in Iowa who love the trails too. I was blessed beyond measure.  The weather was perfect and the trails were so pretty… We completed 5loops of this course and each loop went by crazy fast. I never struggled to regroup and head back out for the next loop. I was having so much fun! The aid stations were amazing and packed with lots of energy by the amazing volunteers and the food was super good! My favorite was the cheese quesadillas. We talked about silly things and took on some serious discussions but mostly just ran with a clear mind and silence ...

Jake is 10!🥳

JAKE IS 10!📣 🎉 we officially have zero boys under 10 now. it’s kinda sad, kinda happy! We’ve loved ALL the stages and really no matter what age Jake is he will always be our babyJ❤️ We had a fun lunch at Culver’s on his birthday, I was teaching at his school so we just took a quick lunch break to Jake’s fav spot! In the morning we drove over to his buddy Emans house and had some birthday donuts with him. Jake loved starting his day off with his best buddy! Jake had the coolest birthday party on homecoming Friday this year. Starting with being in the homecoming parade with his buddies and on Kiptyns pumpkin float. Such a blast! We enjoyed having all these boys crash at our house and hang out with us until football on Saturday morning! Fun playing football with all the brothers and freshmen and sophmore guys too! A true bonus to having older brothers who have fun friends!  We love you so much Jake and it was so much fun celebrating YOU! Don’t grow up too fast on us though, we...

We had so much fun celebrating Drew’s 16th 🥳  and can’t believe he is driving! We started the weekend at his football game in Eau Claire and he got varsity playing time. This is a huge deal as a Sophmore, I may have lost my voice from cheering so loud! #65 is my favorite! Your smile says it all about your heart and living life fully Drew! We took Drew out on the boat to celebrate! It’s been such a warm fall that we did some wakeboarding! We love you Drew, so proud of the guy you are becoming. Praying safety over you as you begin driving the mini van around. Growing up so fast, don’t let me miss anything Lord! I love being Drew’s mom.❤️
