Tennis+Baseball games+music concert 🎶 +morning runs this week+Friday fun day!

 Tennis is coming to an end quickly. Micah has had so much fun playing with the varsity guys this year, Tuesday afternoon was such a blast watching him play doubles. He’s got some great serves and learning to place the ball really well. Brings me back to the my middle school and high school years when I played tennis! I just love watching him play.

Jake is off to a great start to the season! Two games this week. He is a super star pitcher!
Signs of Spring🌷are everywhere. This was taken in our front yard this week, I love this new season. The weather has been so warm and wonderful to run in! 
Jake’s 4th grade Spring concert was cute! Fun to see these 4 handsome guys all dressed up. Thankful that Jake has good friends in his class this year. I think they may be having a bit too much fun! Great photo of them.
Calebs team played well last week, winning both games. Their first tourney is this weekend in Baldwin!
Friday morning was beautiful and I really enjoyed an easy recovery run along the lake.
I’m loving the morning sunshine! 
Caleb&Jake hung out with us on Friday and helped us pick up a bunch of cabin stuff in the cities. Nice to see Nana and GG too!
Jet skis are out! 

The boat has been officially in the water. It’s a great feeling getting in for the 1st time.


Enjoying my new blanket from Terri, one of the many great gifts to us from the cabin. We will sure miss going to the lake but understand it was the right timing. Hoping to live on the lake someday!

May is certainly filled with busy days, but we are really enjoying them together!

Grandmas Marathon- getting faster!!

3:00:38 Grandmas Marathon PR!! I’m still smiling…things are coming along nicely in my marathon expertise! Haha, Im just being silly but I really am learning more as I go-what works best for me, what doesn’t.  June 17th was a blast!! Cramps hit strong in my left calf around mile 18 and then my pace got more limited as I went, I was so scared I would pull something that I tried to find the balance of push and hold up! Super proud of this race and the battle I fought. The marathon is a beast and continues to challenge me! Games ON still for the CIM Marathon on December 3rd. 😁First up though, trails and less miles for me for awhile. My friend Leah is a true gem, someone I really enjoy sharing running miles and life with. Kyle, Micah and I enjoyed time with Leah’s family in Duluth. Getting better and getting ready to go home!

Hey There! We thank all of you so much for all of your prayer support through this entire process. Go sure had His hand in this from the beginning. Anna and Micah are both doing just great. Yesterday was a hard day for Anna, She was very tired and had a hard time as the Doctors began to take her off of some of the pain meds she was not feeling good. She began to get a high temp,but that was all taken care of by early in the night and she slept great. She will be again trying to get of the IV pain meds and move to pills, if this goes well today we will be on our way home to see Drew tomorrow. Anna and I are both really loving the calm personality that God gave to little Micah as we know the high energy that Drew has waiting for us at home. We can't wait to see his little smile again and hear all of his animal noises and cars sounds. It will be so great to see the way that God grows these two boys only 17 months apart. It will be crazy and great all at the same time. Pray

Friday came quick!😅

 These full days have gone by super fast this week. Teaching full days to students who need my full attention, getting over a cold this week, spending time with all the boys each night, and keeping up with Kyle’s busy church schedule has had us all feeling like it has been a quick week! Micah and Caleb had a tennis meeting this week to get ready for their spring season, Kyle and I are really excited to cheer them on soon! Maybe sooner with how warm our weather has been this winter. It’s been fun to hear that Micah has been at the courts a lot already with his buddies, praying he has a solid season ahead for his Junior year.  Micah will be 17yrs old next Tuesday! It’s so crazy to think I have an 18yr old, almost 17yr old, 15yr old, and 12yr old….I wish I could keep them little.❤️ Each season of life looks so different.
