  Friday top5🤩 ✔️pool day ✔️dinner date w Caleb ✔️bonfire night ✔️great track run  ✔️good sleep It’s been a great week! Definitely more chill and low key then life normally is around here, but Drew was gone working quite a bit and Jake was at Bible camp!  The weather has been so beautiful this week! Today will be a high of 85!💦Im hoping to get to the pool for a swim this afternoon. Pretty low key weekend ahead with lots of warm sunshine! Looking forward to it. Can’t wait to hear how camp went for Jake ! Caleb  is pretty sore from contact days at football and lifting a lot. He is working so hard! Crazy he will be a sophomore in high school already.  Micah has gone to valley fair twice this week, so he is living the life! He loves being with his friends. He’s also been lifting weights and working out! Praying for him as he begins his senior year already!

Lately  I have been asked by many- “Now that you’ve accomplished one of your biggest goals, what’s next??” and to be honest I have been really soaking up my 2:58:01 marathon accomplishment and feeling extremely grateful my body felt so strong and healthy for that race. I will never take for granted a healthy body… many of you know my journey has included some pretty tough injuries along the way. So first, I really haven’t hurried to find a “next goal” but have sat in awe and thankfulness. All that to say I am a goal kinda girl and love a good challenge. So on Jan 1, 2024 I signed up to race the Javelina Jundred with some of my greatest running buddies! It will be my 2nd 100miler and this time will be held in Arizona (not Iowa) where it will be very hot. My goal tho will be to have a blast with running friends and finish the race- different then a road race goal….  I really love a good challenge!!  easy trail runs have started….and at the perfect time when the wild flowers are gorgeous!

More  days on the lake! We will take it!!!! Anytime we can get on the lake is a great summer day!😎 Showtime  with these two on wakeboards is my FAVORITE!!!! Makes me smile so much! Love my crew❤️❤️❤️❤️ being on the water never gets old…

Drew and Maddie time is really special to us this summer. They both are a lot of fun to spend time with and we are soaking it all up right now! A fun stretch of days on the lake was priceless… Praying for you guys as God prepares you to launch from Menomonie soooon! the flowers are gorgeous these days💛

Family  time at the Ranch was really fun and we made so awesome memories together! Bozeman hot springs was incredible and the guys and I enjoyed hopping around in all the pools! Kyle and I enjoyed the cold pool/hot pool dip! Dinner  our last night together before saying good bye to family.  Family trip 2024 Montana ❤️

  Day 6- Water Rafting+ Dinner in Big Sky! White water rafting was a lot of fun! We didn’t have our phones with us so we just enjoyed our time together rafting. Best experience with great rapids and the boys fell out lol - we had a blast!! Day 7- fly fishing+hiking+bbq dinner the guys  had fun learning how to fly fish together! Caleb, Jake and I enjoyed a date morning in Big Sky getting coffee/treats and playing phase10 together. It was a great morning River tubing  became a highlight after we picked up a few cheap tubes at the grocery store! I wasn’t so sure how it would all work out, but it was hilarious bc they flew down the river! Emmi  girl and I waiting for the tubers BBQ for dinner was so awesome and a great view! Icing  in this river feels so good on my sore body after my races, Kyle and I are enjoying this time together. Hiking  as a whole family this morning was really special. We got some great pics! Shopped in Big Sky and these two found a great shop! Bonfires  were a highlight this week! Time together has been really cherished. Jake and Emmi on a walk together  Another wonderful day in the mountains! 💛
