Gunderson Adventures.... where all 6 of Us live life to the fullest!

Today Micah turned 1 years old! We can hardly believe how fast this year has gone! Micah is such a precious little creation of God. We are so thankful for his humor and continuous energy he provides to our home. A year ago today I experienced one of the most tragic moments in my life. I remember my water breaking at 1:00AM Sunday night and thinking "Oh no! My baby is coming and we have to go 100 miles to the closest hospital!" Normally it wouldn't have been so dramatic because we have a hospital 1 mile away from our home. However, the surgeon was out of town and we needed to be secured by a surgeon in case a c-section would need to take place. So, we called our dearest friend Lynn to come to our home to take care of Andrew so we could take off to Virginia, MN. My great and mighty husband Kyle drove the fastest he claims ever and got us 100 miles in roughly an hour or a little more. Every monday our school has open swim for the community and we try to take the boys as often as we can.  This past week we took the boys and went to the pool!  Andrew, our not so brave boy, made some huge leaps this week.  He went into the pool on his own, and stood in the shallow end and played with balls, and his new swimming friend from the past two weeks, Sammie.  He not only learned to jump into the shallow end on his own and walk down the ramp into the pool.  He also took his first jump off the real diving board.   Like the 3 foot board .  And Micah well, he will do what ever you want.  He walks around the pool deck like he owns the place, dunks the basketball and laughs, and He will swim around without any hesitation and he loves life.   Our boys are so much fun to live life with and be with.   Kyle

Each Tuesday night in February and March Anna has the opportunity to be apart of a women's small group bible study and mentoring night called Apples of Gold. She goes and has dinner with the group and is well taken care of and pampered. This has been great for her to get out and be with other women and NO KIDS! This has also meant that the we get a GUYS NIGHT each week. The past weeks we have spent going to basketball games, hockey games, and shooting hoops in the church gym, tonight we took of for Donald's as Drew calls or other wise known as McDonald's for ice cream and playing in the towers, and then came home for hoops. Here is our little guys shooting on their own hoop, and Micah as he is walking all over the house! We must say that Guys Night really does rule! Kyle

Our computer is simi back up and running so we will try to update as much as we can with new pictures and videos, Here are a few videos that we thought were funny. We hope everyone took a moment out of your day to let your family and loved ones know how much you love them! Andrew, Micah and I had a fun day getting ready to make daddy feel special when he came home today. We made his favorite frosted cut out cookies together and had a blast! Andrew was so excited to show Kyle what he was busy doing today. Micah is growing up so quickly. We can finally say he is walking at 11 months old! Micah refuses to do much sitting these days and is becoming a great walker! Since Andrew didn't walk until 15 months old, this seems really early to us!  We love you all and pray that you are living a life full of LOVE each and everyday!  Happy Valentine's Day!! Hey there! We are back with Many new update and thing happening in our family.  It seems like it has been forever since we updated all of you and man have things changed.   We had a few first for Micah as well as some time out of town. Micah has some big news, he has taken a few of his firsts steps, he can only go about 3 to 4 step before he lets his head get in front of his feet and falls over, but we are well on our way to real trouble with this child.  He has found his way to crawl up on just about anything, to include the steps for drew to brush his teeth, the fire place, and a rubbermade tub, all of which scare Mom and Dad to no end. Micah Also had his first hair cut.  Dad almost cried when he saw those curls hit the floor, but he managed to hold it together.  Micah looks like such a big boy now. We will also try to put on a few videos in the coming days!

With the boys keeping us very busy we are sad to report that our computer is broken and this will make it even more difficult to update the blog but we will try as often as possible! hope to be back up soon!
